This client is GREAT! She gave the most information I've been wondering about HOUZZ, especially questions about cost of things, like a designer and cost of items that can be purchased. Thank you.
Such a nice and beautiful family and to see a horrific occurrence turn into a happy ending is like ice cream on the cake... So very happy for this family and thank you for sharing your situation...
My family and I were impacted in various ways by Harvey. I left Houston soon after to live and work overseas. Seeing the city at 1:34 was... overwhelming, to say the least. I’ll be permanently returning soon and looking forward to using Houzz in the process. Thank you for sharing this story and details. It’s not easy living along areas that flood at all and for some, it’s the only option.
I’m so happy and lucky to have found this channel ❤️ I know it’s for promoting Houzz but to me its inspirational on a personal level 🤗 What a great and happy lifestory 🙌🏼 Much love from Sweden ❤️
I'm happy to see that something beautiful and amazing was built after the loss of your belongings do to the floods in your home. I think It looks great, congratulations and enjoy😊your new-ish home.
They shouldve come to Indonesia. Floods like these are sooo familiar to our eyes. Imagine having this kind of flood but rooftop high with super dirty water & trash floating. And most of the impacted houses are probably 1/10 as big. Thus they have no power or option to even use Houzz to “rebuild”. Good for this family that they can rebuild. But it’s not the worst still. They should be so thankful :)
Katherine Z the flooding in Houston from harvey was caused by rain not a waterway over flowing the rain was so great that the storm drains on the street were overfilling the issue with living near the ocean won’t be direct flooding but land erosion
I would rather my house burn to the ground than get flooded. All that sogginess and bacteria. Defo turned that lemon into lemonade, great kitchen. Funny how you’re always insured until you need to actually claim on it 🤔

How much this renovation cost?
A VERY CO-HESIVE, ZEN SPACE. I ASSUMED IT WAS GOING TO BE A HOUSE WITH 2ND LEVEL ENTRY-OFF THE GROUND(FLLOD PROOF) BUT IT'S A FAB RE-DO!💯❤
... And what was the prevention measure for next one?
Kindly suggest..
Beautiful 😍
Awesome
Beautiful design, what is the paint on the bottom island cabinets, the light blue, and I love that artwork , the silhouette coloured one

I wish there was a link to buy the metallic tiles in the kitchen.
REGINA Z you can probably search for it on the houzz website.
did they mention the cost?
Wow I’m sorry, I have never had my house flood but I know it’s hard.
