The 525 is the epitome of BELL Helicopters. I'll take two(2) please😎 The 412 is a proven & a exceptional Helicopter with an endless scope of possibilities. Thank you for an awesome effort invested in creating this Video - Keep up the great work
I love all of bell helicopters but the B412, that's my baby the whole series is just out of this world. Over the years they keep improving on it and I am honoured to have work on them for over 20 years. To date the B412EPI beats everything out there.
The Bell 412 EPI is an awesome helicopter. It’s my favorite if I can buy one. Bell Helicopter has a flight training school. They can help you get a licensed and certified in areas such as night flying and search and rescue.
Can't help but think that the BELL 222 (Airwolf) was the best looking Helicopter ever! Who wouldn't love to black/grey BELL 222 (Airwolf spec) as personal transport?
nice video coverage. I own and fly a 505 Jetranger X in the Philippines and am completely satisfied with the 505 performance. I have had it since January 2023 to present. Kudos to Bell for the extensive machines that they are producing. thank you.
I enjoy your professionalism plus your narration is like music to me ... flows right along making your productions immensely pleasant to both see and hear ... Of course without our keen interest in the aviation sphere none of that would matter
The BH-429 (especially the -429 Wheeled Landing Gear) is the finest helicopter Bell has ever built. Love to fly the machine in everything from corporate, VVIP, and HEMS roles. If your client needs an experienced -429 and -429WLG pilot or instructor, I do contract work.
Absolutely, the Bell 222 served as the basis for the Airwolf helicopter in the iconic 1980s TV series. It was chosen for its sleek design, which made it look futuristic and suitable for the role. If you're a fan of aviation in TV and film, is there any other aircraft from movies or shows that you find particularly fascinating?
It's possible that a 4-blade version of the Bell 505 could be developed in response to customer preferences or specific operational requirements. If Bell Helicopter releases any updates or new versions, it would be worth keeping an eye on their official announcements. Is there a particular reason you're interested in a 4-blade version?
It's fascinating to hear that Bell offered a one-man chopper for under a thousand dollars in the 60s. How times have changed! Were you or anyone you knew fortunate enough to own one of these back then, and do you have any interesting stories or memories associated with it?
All I see is a list of reasons Bell and others are trying to make sure their helicopters stay out of the hands of 95% of operators out there. These things are so un-afordable to make profit with these days that customers can't or won't pay what's necessary to satisfy the insurance demons while still putting food on the table. Great machines though, I love me some 429.
With 130 hours instruction given in a -505 (6,000+ total hours, ATP, CFII, checked out in 85+ models of aircraft) I can state unequivocally the BH-505 is a PoS. It is like a Yugo with rotor blades. During the 90-days I managed one, we had multiple failures and warranty claims. Fit and finish is terrible (they even forgot to install the door lock tumblers at the factory). A significant hydraulic leak with associated damage to tthe cabin roof (and complying with the subsequent AD) held up the sale. I have flown nearly everything in the Bell line and love their aircraft but the -505 is a not worthy of this great company. They designed the -505 solely to compete on price with the R-66. Bell ended up building a crappy helicopter with horrible engineering and even worse build standards, instead of building a far superior performing helicopter and pricing it slightly higher.
The Bell 412 has earned its reputation for various reasons. What sets the Bell 412 apart, in your opinion, and what do you find most impressive about it as a helicopter?
Hasn't been certified and has definitely seen its problems. Has been overhyped since the blueprints were drawn. Lots of other same class aircraft already certified and in use but never a mention in all the hype. Now I understand this was about Bell but this phenomenon existed before this video. If you want a Bell buy a Bell but to rate an aircraft several years ahead of certification above all the rest is disingenuous.
For me Bell pretty much killed its reputation of making good looking and modern helicopters with the 505. This abomination of a Bell helicopter does not belong in the sky. Let somebody else build this, but not Bell. Yikes. No love for this fugly bird.

I miss the old Bell 222B I know there was an upgraded variant of it but forgot its designation. They need to do a more modern version.
The 430? That's the "these days" version of the 222 AFAIK.
@@tubehellcat that could work.

When I was a kin back in the 60's bell had a one man chopper for just under a thousand dollars.

What an interesting read. Love your take and hands-on experience on the 505. Thanks for sharing them here.
Only time I’ve worked on one I can say this:
What an overengineered, rushed to production, important parts are an afterthought, giant POS.
Bell 412 is the best
The Bell 412 has earned its reputation for various reasons. What sets the Bell 412 apart, in your opinion, and what do you find most impressive about it as a helicopter?

Oohrah
You dont see many 505’s around.
Nice but the average working man can't touch those prices . Big shot movie stars and folks like them can though.
Expensive.
Pricey and cheap product
