  • Elizabeth Barraza lived with her husband Sergio in the Tomball, Texas. In 2019, Elizabeth was up early setting up a garage sale, as their 5 year anniversary was fast approaching. However, early that day someone approached Elizabeth. This was all caught on CCTV, however it remains and unsolved case to this day.

The obvious one would be her friends...But for some reason I'm just thinking co-worker. Or a spouse of co-worker? Someone who knew exactly when the work day starts. It'd be pretty easy to see when her husband leaves every morning. Someone sparked by jealousy for whatever reason.
Edit: ...and he just dropped the co-worker possibility so now I'm slightly less original. Not that it was a thought people wouldn't have considered anyway.

Those garage sale hunters are nuts! That's how they find their goodies. But the fact that this victim hadn't even hung her signs out yet makes me really REALLY positive that the suspect not only knew her, but knew she'd be where she was at the time. How else can that be? No gang initiations are going to take place in a quiet neighborhood where everyone is presumed to be sleeping. And even of it was an initiation, why drive the neighborhood the day before? They'd have no clue she'd be outside in her driveway that early. I just CAN'T believe that there's been no movement on this case in nearly 3 years! Frustrating. I have read all of his statements regarding her murder. The soft language and minimization he uses are interesting. Not once has he mentioned the word "murder" in any of his statements, but the father has. He has used " passed away" to describe her death, but never "murdered" in which she was. People with guilty knowledge will minimize the crime committed to hide from the truth. Scott Peterson never used the word "murder" until the interviewer introduced it in the interview. Not once has Sergio called to the killer to come forward and turn himself or herself in for the crime committed. He never mentions the word "killer" or anything close to that word. It is always "someone" or "person", etc. In one of his statements, he said that only a few people knew about the garage sale and that he "barely knew about it". It was for their anniversary, so how is it possible that the husband would barely know about her plan to raise money for the trip? Not once does he show anger or disgust towards the person who killed her. He would rather sermonize about how life has its mystery, but not one plea to the killer or killers to turn themselves in. For an innocent person, there are a lot of signs of guilty knowledge present.

I mean think about it, if you decide to have a garage sale you don’t just sporadically do it out of the blue. That’s usually something that ppl plan ahead of time. They go through the house and filter out what they want/don’t want anymore. I guarantee that she had told ppl in the time leading up to the sale that she was preparing to hold one. Someone knew & they got someone else that she DIDNT know to go kill her. It HAS to be someone fairly close-ish to her that’s responsible for this. Maybe they didn’t pull the trigger, but they are the party responsible, just as guilty & know who did pull it. They knew to much, knew obviously where she lived, they knew when he would leave for work, they knew what she would be doing and when.
