I don't know why Sydney blanked Charlotte as soon as he saw Eliza. He didn't even bother introducing them. Eliza didn't know who Charlotte was, until she came to Sanditon, with Sydney! How could that have happened? A few seconds earlier, he was besotted, with Charlotte!
Sandition is the most romantic movie I've seen on Master Piece classic in awhile that I would love to see more of it's so real how they capture each other well written give us Season 2
It is very TRUE they are a fabulous couple together and so well cast. Rose Williams who play Charlotte Hayward is breathtakingly Gorgeous as much as Sydney Parker (Theo James) is handsome. I do believe it captures every romantics heart the very storyline - so many WANTED to see them together.
Thanks for such a beautiful video and music that fits with the story. After binge watching the whole series of Sanditon recently, I still feel the interaction and love felt between Charlotte and Sidney was like no one. To simplify my feelings, I cannot stop watching this.

I agree too. Theo should come back and finish the story by marrying Charlotte. Then go do whatever film he wants to do. He took a job. He should finish the job.

Actors are required to act in weddings. If he did not want to act with women, he should never have been an actor. Season 1 was his finest work so far.

I am SO disappointed that the writers would "pull a fast one on us" like that! They first make you become entralled with Sidney and Charlotte's relationship and then they rip Sidney out of the story, like it will not affect the storyline at ALL!! I am not looking forward to watching Charlotte start to fall in love with a soldier!! NO WAY!!! I want to see Sidney set free to come back somehow, but still in love with Charlotte, and they finally get together... Isn't there some way to re-write season 3 so that Sidney could come back to claim Charlotte's hand at last??? SO DISAPPOINTED that the writers chose to go in the direction of a "Mr. Wickham" for Charlotte's future, like the evil guy from Pride & Prejudice!! WHAT A BUMMER!
Unfortunately, Charlotte got what she wanted from Sidney! A man who put his useless brother before his own needs! She should have been careful what she wished/badgered him for! She was Tom's assistant. How come she didn't know what a mess his finances were in and that he wasn't paying his poor workers? Tom should have sorted out his own mess! He wouldn't have done that much for Sidney! He should have put Tom on a ship to Antigua!!!

The colours on S1 are quite drab. In comparison, S2 looks as though it is filmed in glorious technicolor! Even that failed to bring S2 up to S1's level! It just like they were copying Bridgerton!

No chemistry whatsoever he was a bully , ignorant rude and a debaucher why would anyone want him ,
The costumes and scenery were quite nice. The story was trite and frankly boring.
In NO way is Sanditon boring...It tells a beautiful story of love, lost, hope and recovery to the many twists and turns of life...
