Widely reported Godfrey is on between 60-70k a week. I would be amazed if anyone is paying around 10mill for him and giving him a 4 year deal costing them another 14mill in wages. He has never looked like a prem level starter. Unless he is prepared to take a big wage cut (no chance) I cant see him going anywhere.
I think he will go on and have a decent career somewhere, he's a good player just didn't fit in our system

Yeah. Young being put on B4 Godfrey is a good point, however it is rare anyone goes elsewhere who as on fringe of irregular use, except when nez, does well anywhere else. Stones and Gordon; the rest, who knows?

Everton should releases players that should be incl Holgate, Keane (replace with Tanganga n Helik), Beto, Chermiti, Maupay (replaced with Szmodics n buy Adebayo)
Godfrey never the same after fracture imo. Would much rather keep him than Young long-term. Young must be quite the contributor in the locker room b/c on the pitch he's been a liability.
Never rated Godfrey, had a few good games, but overshadowed by too many poor performances. We got Godfrey from Norwich when Maddison was available for the same money. Our recruitment team are class!
