Pretty straightforward (with the instructions) and agree that removing the control panel was both easy and made the handbrake boot replacement straightforward. Of course, I got super glue all over my hands :-). Buttons just needed removal, cleaning and replacement (oh, and removal of the 10A fuse to stop the horn going off during reinstallation). Thanks!
my 04 disco hse center console is one piece from the the windows control to the gear shifter. how do i pop it up in order to replace the handbrake boot? i have two cupholders on the edges as well.
The position of the gapped end of the frame (the one with the nylon straw) was shifted to the bottom on reassembly. When you first popped it out it was on top. Which is correct?
I also noticed the same thing AFTER I put/glued the new boot on with the gapped end towards the front. Had trouble making it fit correctly so went back and reviewed the video and noticed he flipped it. Tomorrow, I will retry and hopefully I didn't glue on the new boot in the wrong direction.

+Juan Carlos Guzman I was about to ask the same thing. It think it was attached wrong initially... it makes more sense to have the seam on the bottom
