- We have a new addition to our extended family due in November, a little girl! So exciting! Congratulations to Liam and Liz!
I tend to make quilts whenever a new baby is born, and I do plan to do this too, but wanted to make some other little bits and pieces. These booties being the first. I made a few pairs while trying to get the pattern just right and think I’ve nailed it. I’ll add pics of the others further down. I do plan to make more in other fabrics, but this is the fabric I chose for the purpose of the video.
The fabric used for the youtube video below was from the new Blue Skies and Nutmeg Range by Stuart Hillard which we’re now stocking, yay!

Thank you for sharing :) in the video you mentioned a "spider"...because the machine was eating the material. What is a spider?
It's a small piece of fabric use to start the sewing process. Your first few stitches are sewn into it (it's a scrap pieces which eventually looks like it has a million legs coming off it) and then you go straight into stitching your actual project. I hope this explains it, if not give me another shout and I'll try again 😘
So when you are talking about seams showing you are only meaning a small space, right. Mine was at the toe of the shoe inside.

Hello, are seams suppose to show on inside?
@@susandeal9042 they do appear yes. However they're so small they should get lost inside. They'll not be too visible and won't irritate the little one.

The print out doesn't include scale to make sure its accurately printed
I will add this when I get a chance. However, if you print at 100% on A4 paper it will be right.
Is this reversable
They can be turned the other way out but you'd need to hand sew the opening closed instead of top stitching it closed or you'll have a small section that sticks out slightly x
