Turning the spoon over is stupid. Why would you do that? It's just gonna confuse the baby as he starts trying to feed himself!!! Then I guarantee you mom will say why is so messy/ why does he have a hard time getting in his mouth...... because you taught him to flip it over. SMH this is not rocket science

Babies, through actions, will let you know when they are ready to try foods. When they take notice of your plate of food, watch you eat, reach for your plate, etc they're ready to try. Could be 3 months or 8 months, etc. They are more apt to succeed at that time. Some videos, parents start off with foods and baby shows no interest what so ever, so it likely will not be successful, and that's okay.
