The CRAOL Community Radio Féile 2014 was held in Youghal, Co Cork, over the weekend of the 23rd, 24th and 25th May 2014. This was a very special event for Community Radio Youghal, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary in existence, serving the town of Youghal and the surrounding rural areas in East Cork and West Waterford.
Alongside all of the modern technology at Community Radio Youghal's new studios in Nagle House visitors were able to take a trip back in time to see a unique Vintage Radio Museum, specially assembled for the weekend by Noel Cronin and John Kennedy. Here John describes the old radio's and TV's worked and how CRY 104fm began to broadcast it's first transmission back on July 4th 1979.
