The actual issue is the stretching and ‘memory effect’ that the elastic will develop. As for me, I keep about 9 cards, 6 bills, 2 ID cards, and an AirTag. Metal cards and embossed cards are handled with no issues. I was actually looking for a ‘more durable’ replacement that could handle all of the above, but it feels hard to find something that ticks all of the above boxes without costing and arm and a leg (or looking like a Costanza Wallet). Will continue looking through this channel though!
I’ve had three of these my favorite wallet. I load from both sides which makes it easier to close and offers easier selection. Usually I have 6-10 cards in it. Only problem is it looks ugly over time. Never had it break and I am rough with it.
It's worth mentioning that it gets dirty but it's washable. So besides that, as good as new. I was expecting the elastic to start failing or tearing apart and it didn't get worse in any way.
There isn't two slots in this wallet, but three. Where you did put the cash, you're actually supposed to be able to put more cards. And right next to it there is a pocket in which you can put your cash.
I've head one of these for about 3 years and it's been great as far as functionality (cards only - I never carry cash) and has held up just fine over that time. I'm only looking to replace it for vanity reasons (probably going to get an Anson Calder).
Hi, great video as usual. What could be interesting is maybe a review and road test of a "high-end" wallet. They are high price but are they also high quality. One that has interested me is the Pocket Organiser from Louis Vuitton. I like the format not necessarily the price. However, the quality may actually mean is "worth" it, if its going to last for years.
To clarify, there are two card slots and a pouch for cash or a key. I carry about 7 cards in each slot including insurance and such. The wallets do stretch after a while so I’ve gotten a new one every couple of years.

However, you haven't quite done the wallet justice as a "right out the bag" review... maybe had you used it for a while as your EDC wallet, you'll actually realise that there are in fact 3 slots on the wallet (2 main with each holding 1 to 6 cards and a smaller one at the rear where your cash or a key will get stashed). I have got two of these wallets (Black & Red) and they are both different versions (Black is version 1 which doesn't have the butt up leather tab and the slot isn't supported by the material patch you can clearly see, Red is version 2 and has a leather supporting patch at the slot and still no butt fixture). I've had my wallets for MANY years now and neither of them, which get pleanty of use, have started coming apart... I would say for design, idealism and convenience of size and use that $20 is well worth the price... Sorry for the rant :-)
You should check out some of the zipper wallets from Waterfield. And if possible some of the other materials than leather. I'd love to get your opinion on how durable they are. Plus they use ykk zippers

Yeah, we've been experimenting with that. The original music was too loud and a there were tympanic notes that were annoying if you had headphones on as mentioned by a number of community members. We've kept the intro music, but have been putting different tracks on videos at a lower sound level.
I've carried this wallet for a year now, not this one exactly, but the 5€ chinese 'rip-off'. I usually carry 6 cards, a couple of notes and no more than 4 coins and it works fantastic. I have to say the design is great, but like they've already said in comments, it starts looking ugly over time, but that's not a problem due to its price, I actually bought 4 in different colours. Highly recommended.
I hope you read this and give this a rescore. The quality of 2 seems really low. I've had this wallet over 3 years at OVER capacity (15ish cards) and it's held up incredibly well.

I have add this wallet for 4 years now. I love that is small. After 4 years it has stretched so cards are slipping out. So time for a new wallet.

I just gave my Basic wallet a farwell, which looks identical to this. Thing lasted 6 years of beat up. Got the new Distil Union Wally Bifold 5.0.
