I was in foster care from the age or 3 in Georgia. In my view GA has an amazing system. At the age of 18 I signed myself back into the system due to the Independent Living Program. It pays for you to stay in care while they pay for you to go to college all you had to do was maintain a 2.0 and it was for any state college. It would also pay for grad school due to the fact the program was up until 25 or 27 years of age but I think it was 25 as that’s when I finished. The program paid for all books no matter the cost and you didn’t need to get a job as all they wanted you to do was focus on school. If your in GA and about to turn 18 and have the option to sign back in and want to go to college take advantage of it as it will change your life and put you ahead of about 99% of students when you graduate. I use to joke about having one of the wealthiest parents in the state which was the state of Georgia. It was funny when I went to graduation verification and they showed a $0 bill and the woman asked how did I accomplish that task and I told her" I have extremely wealthy parents". I know being in foster care can be embarrassing but if your in the right home that have foster parents that want to see you succeed the opportunities are amazing should you want to put forward some effort.
I'm glad you are ok that's why I always say be safe. I rode for 20 years been down 4 times but was able to walk away. I was awed by Devin motivation speech on his channel and I'm glad to always hear the good words coming from you, Devin and Jay. you all have your heads on straight and heading into the correct direction to further your careers. More of the young folks I speak to I tell them to check out Devin, Jay and your channels. Girl you were Rolling !!! Stay safe ps .. I did finally get my permit have went on few rides... can you make a video on counter steering. I noticed on my ride that my counter steer seemed different on my bike then the old bike they had us use in MSF class. Maybe a demonstration is the press a downward press or a forward left right press. My husband says in our bikes it’s a more downward.
I was just taking my CDL-A permit tests today and one of the questions had to do with tar bleeding when it's hot out and being slippery. I slipped on gravel once riding my bike but luckily I was taking a corner and I put my foot down for the save. another close call I had was hitting a big gap between the train track and rotted wood around it. the bike jumped and I went of the seat and my feet came off the pegs and I ended up in the grass but luckily I didn't go down.
Glad you didn't fall. Shoot these country roads take forever to get a makeup. They just like doing patch work like son naw hurry up and gives us a new road
