i have like 6000 hours in pvp, and i definitely do not think they care. they have recently added a few cool turrets, but meshing is as bad as its ever been and theyve corrupted the entire gamemode with pocket devs
As a stupid side effect, if you pump the quality level of drops to maximum in single player or on a server for ASE, the Island drops will start to include multiple compass blueprints. And nothing else new. The drops in Ark: Survival Evolved on the Island are just that bad.
As a bonus, cooked meat has more food value than raw meat on ASA. So in Ark: Survival Ascendant you are best to stuff a Deadon with cooked prime meat to do this trick.
Correction about the Rhyniognatha: This creature actually was intended to be added to ASE from the start, as the creature vote it won was done in celebration on ARK's 8th birthday. The Gigantoraptor was actually the winner of Ragnarok's creature vote. However, in early-mid 2024, the Center got delayed, so ragnarok was going to release with the Shastasaurus instead. But then Ragnarok *also* got delayed, so the center released with the Shasta anyways, and the Gigantoraptor was released early as it's own creature.

Great video, a lot of odd tips I’ve never heard of. Two additions, otters also act as an ac unit and their effectiveness also scales with melee damage, and leaving render for daeodons to eat faster works on server as well as single player. But with the amount of tips in the video, those are tiny :-)

Its still sus to refer to the two games collectively as "ARK" though, as ASA already has changes from ASE which render information in this very video invalid, not to mention future content or even potentially a lack thereof, as the most recent roadmap does not even mention Crystal Isles nor Lost Island. Here's another one : in ASE, when your character is not wearing a hat/helmet/etc, and of course provided you didn't just get a fresh haircut, whenever you go swimming, your hair gets wet ! It's slightly shiny and the color changes a bit. Once you get out of the water, it will slowly fade back into the color and texture of your usual dry hair. I've only tested it with the female character, to be fair. Also no idea about ASA, I'll let you science that :P
I remember the first time I went underwater with my Shoulder pet came back up then notice my little Dimorphodon just living its best life haha I’m like wtf how did you not drown!
Not sure on the swamp fever, I transferred to Scorched Earth & still had swamp fever, had to go back to the island & fix it. This was around 4 weeks ago.
Ive been corrected on this actually, going to Scorched to get rid of swamp fever is only a thing you can do in ASE and was removed in ASA. My apologies.
On official PvP servers and some other unofficial servers the gamma setting is actually locked into default so NVGs are very much useful there (though if you’re able to survive long enough on Offical PvP without getting wiped your tribe probably already has Tek helmets for you to wear.)

I don't know if it still works but you used to be able to punch the ground to mitigate fall damage. The timing has to be perfect but I have saved my life over a dozen times on pvp during the early release days by punching the ground after falling off my bird.

you dont need the alpha KT, as the ascension from Extinction doesn't give survivor levels! i was surprised when i learned this the first time too, especially with how grindy he is
to be fair how many games actually have working mirrors that have accurate reflections? and the radio can be useful in PVP servers for personal communications instead of using party chats
radio became dysfunctional very soon after aberration released in ark evolved and has never been fixed (and discord exists), but i do agree about the mirror. i just thought it was funny that it worked in one specific instance and nowhere else
Just a few thing phoenix is one of the fastest creature in ark, only slower than dreadmare, yes snow owl (and gryphon) has a higher "top" speed of 5890cm/s but that's only when you fly straight down, while the phoenix can fly at 4200cm/s now matter the condition even when encumbered, so it takes objectivly shorter time to travel long distance with a phoenix unless you're going down a hill. If you want to test the spped yourself use the Command "ShowDebug PHYSICS", and an ingame UI will show the speed the creature is moving. Fasolasuchus is alot easier to tame in aberration than in SE since reaper despawns at 5am and the sun doesnt come up till 11 in day7-9 also the smout of torpor the element rocks give is very handy, Also a lot of people make this mistake but Carcha is pronounced (Kaar-kr-uh) not (car-cher) the h is silent like the h in character. Some other wrong info had already been pointed out by other so I won't repeat.
yeah the only fliers faster than the phoenix are the ones that can divebomb and the mana (of course, the mana stamina is way nerfed but its still insanely fast) very good point about the fasola getting knocked out faster because of element rocks, i think it depends on the rates though. on slow rates that timeframe is still extremely tight
im not sure how anyone's getting a snow owl or griffin faster than a boosted phoenix, it's my favorite method of flying in ASA since it doesn't need to land for stamina. I find it great for idle silica farming though (It could always poop black pearls in ASE as well). Also another useless fact is when they ported the featherlights landing animations, it gave the phoenix the featherlights sounds which are weird in contrast to its sounds when flying. Also the desmodus also has a lifesteal ability, I recently rediscovered just how powerful it is.
snow owls are probably a bit slower to be honest, griffins are faster if leveled in stam pretty heavily, and managarmrs are definitely faster. phoenix's are really fun to ride around though, and the stamina mechanic on it is obviously a huge perk
@@JasesAce Griffins to me are incredibly underwhelming, their speed relies on the diving mechanic but personally I find it horrible that outside of speed that they're worse than argentavis, strength wise, stamina wise, health wise, etc. I end up taming them and never using them because my battle argies will always be so much better even with base stats. They don't have anything going for them like most fliers either. Manas are weird because they aren't flyers by technicality (they can even enter caves and aberration) but MAN are they quick, just have good stamina and speed leveling and boom, they get slowed down by large mountains at times, tough. The ground movement also outpaces most if not all land mounts.
@@RavenVI Don't forget Pteranadons tho honestly even after having all these tames the Ptera is still the fastest and easiest tame. I might aound like a beach bob rn but when it comes to getting around the map it is the fastest. Obviously this isn't the case for fighting the Desert Titan or Crystal Wyvern Queen. Even stamina and weight isn't much of a problem after a few levels.
@hamsterpro7629 pteras are great starter flyers but outside of being faster than the argy they stop being useful after the beach bob phase the severely lacking stamina and weight is just not enough to keep it relevant imo. I still view it as more useful than the Griffin since unlike the Griffin the Ptera is insanely useful as a starter flyer thanks to ease of taming and safe spawn locations. The griffin is harder to tame than an Argent or Owl while not nearly being as good, the Owl does what the Griffin can but better imo. Also the Desmo is a severely useful and powerful flyer that I recently rediscovered the strengths of.
@@RavenVI It just depends on what you utilize flyers for. When it comes to getting metal in the mountains obviously Ptera isn't right for the job. Same with boss fights. Usually I would use a wyvern when it comes to brute force. And they are easiest to tame out of all flyers especially if you already have a Ptera, which most people have in the game. The only downside is that they aren't on all maps. Desmodus is an amazing tame too, but they aren't available on many maps, and are hard to tame.
In ase on consoles you have to have the compass to use the map properly because you don’t have mods or console commands. Your position on the map can’t be seen without it.
the destination server doesn't allow survivor downloads, because force stop my ASA when i stuck while i transfer my char in official server, i lost my char when i play again that char , anyone can help me for this? thanks
the raft tip isn't useless imo. gonna log onto single player and cover all the lava with rafts in volcano. nothing is sadder than watching that 150 giga burn up.
wildcard 100% doesnt gaf about official pvp, meshing is at an all time high and that bee turret that is supposed to be a counter to it when you cant place them in caves...where the meshing takes place....
@ my hard underwater just got meshed the other day we got them out but its so crazy how its still a thing that you virtually cannot defend against besides internals and even then they just mesh generators
of course they do, but it's a video game with commands that can be used in place of the nvgs functions, with alternatives like the tek helmet for seeing at night
honestly that is a fair critique. i think the nvgs look horrible either way and id wait for a tek helmet but its preference. hope you enjoyed otherwise!

Thank you for using the term "creatures" instead of "dino/dinosaurs". It irritates the hell out of me when people call everything "dino" in Ark, when in fact, less than 1/3 of the creatures in the game are dinosaurs (this could be another useless information lol 😅)
@@JasesAce To be fair, they would be (unintentionally/unknowingly) right about that one, birds are scientifically considered a lineage of dinosaurs (interesting topic if you like dinos, I highly recommend looking it up)😅. But yeah, they do that with Megatheriums and such.. The why is pretty simple, Wild Card made a good job rewiring people's brains, their marketing and communication is heavily dino focused, and even some ingame texts generalize creatures as dinos. It's a well known word, it's simple and easy, so pretty much nobody cares if it's as incorrect to call a mammal a dino as saying dolphins are fish.🙄😅
Random thing with the rock drakes on crystal isles is if you manually spawn In drakes in some of the nesting spots eggs will appear in the nests, I believe it was the nests towards the lower portions of the islands. Also the difference between the polar bears is that the dire polar bear is tamnable and is found on rag in the murder snow and val near blue ob and the wyvern den while the normal polar bear is not tamnable and not found on those two maps.
One correction: you can only tame the Polar Bears on Extinction in Ark: Survival Evolved if you lead them out of the Ice Titan's cave. They have problems if you ever cryopod them or transfer them between maps.

Usually I would use a wyvern when it comes to brute force. And they are easiest to tame out of all flyers especially if you already have a Ptera, which most people have in the game. The only downside is that they aren't on all maps. Desmodus is an amazing tame too, but they aren't available on many maps, and are hard to tame.
In ark survival ascended there's a specific gene trait which actually adds lifesteal abilities to any creature.

In ase on consoles you have to have the compass to use the map properly because you don’t have mods or console commands. Your position on the map can’t be seen without it.

Leaving render should work to insta feed your tames online as well.

The mejoberry feeds the tames 2twice as much as the regular berries so they are able to eat more of the other berries in less time

But it will mess up their bonus levels it will make them starve faster and do not force feed them it will wake them up faster
thats actually pretty funny, it makes complete sense though because of it making them hungrier

wildcard 100% doesnt gaf about official pvp, meshing is at an all time high and that bee turret that is supposed to be a counter to it when you cant place them in caves...where the meshing takes place....
the bee turret thing is baffling to me all around, were on the same page entirely
@ my hard underwater just got meshed the other day we got them out but its so crazy how its still a thing that you virtually cannot defend against besides internals and even then they just mesh generators

of course they do, but it's a video game with commands that can be used in place of the nvgs functions, with alternatives like the tek helmet for seeing at night

Was just something that bugged me a bit so I wrote it to meme. I would even say using commands is kinda valid, taking in consideration that it's about ARK which is.. Very clunky and often messes up to say lightly. XD
@ yeah I usually don’t use commands, like I never used ini or anything when in PvP because I liked the game not looking horrible. I just never viewed gamma as cheating tbh. Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for using the term "creatures" instead of "dino/dinosaurs". It irritates the hell out of me when people call everything "dino" in Ark, when in fact, less than 1/3 of the creatures in the game are dinosaurs (this could be another useless information lol 😅)

@@JasesAce To be fair, they would be (unintentionally/unknowingly) right about that one, birds are scientifically considered a lineage of dinosaurs (interesting topic if you like dinos, I highly recommend looking it up)😅. But yeah, they do that with Megatheriums and such.. The why is pretty simple, Wild Card made a good job rewiring people's brains, their marketing and communication is heavily dino focused, and even some ingame texts generalize creatures as dinos. It's a well known word, it's simple and easy, so pretty much nobody cares if it's as incorrect to call a mammal a dino as saying dolphins are fish.🙄😅

Random thing with the rock drakes on crystal isles is if you manually spawn In drakes in some of the nesting spots eggs will appear in the nests, I believe it was the nests towards the lower portions of the islands. Also the difference between the polar bears is that the dire polar bear is tamnable and is found on rag in the murder snow and val near blue ob and the wyvern den while the normal polar bear is not tamnable and not found on those two maps.

One correction: you can only tame the Polar Bears on Extinction in Ark: Survival Evolved if you lead them out of the Ice Titan's cave. They have problems if you ever cryopod them or transfer them between maps.
