Hey everyone! I've received numerous inquiries about Doofy, the adorable dog I rescued in Kansas. It broke my heart to witness his previous owner mistreating him, but I'm thrilled to share that we made the decision to keep him. We enlisted the help of the fantastic team at Tip Top Canine in Tulsa, OK to provide him with professional training. Since then, Doofy has become an incredible travel companion during my tours. He accompanies me everywhere and genuinely expresses sadness whenever I have to leave him behind while I work.
Behind the scenes of this job -
After completing a project mowing the mansions in Florida with Al and Ap, I immediately took on this current job. The Mansion video is coming up but that project is quite extensive, requiring more time for editing. While our editor is diligently working on it, I wanted to provide you with some videos to enjoy in the meantime. These videos showcase our adventures during this winter trip, which has been an incredible experience of traveling and working.
During this 2.5-month work trip, my wife and children stayed at home, and I am immensely grateful for their strength and support while I ventured out of state to help others. Although I must admit, having my family with me on the road brings me even more joy. Nevertheless, Doofy, my faithful companion, kept my spirits high throughout the journey.
While I was away, my wife actually found a stunning property for us to call home. She was certain it was the perfect one, and I wholeheartedly trusted her judgment, so I encouraged her to make it happen. Over the past few weeks, I've been busy working on the new property, and I'm excited to share the upcoming videos showcasing the transformation and cleanup process.

I did. I am not about animal abuse. I use it on its beeper setting. It just makes a small noise to get his attention. I also have one that vibrates and that really gets his attention. As long as your not a cruel person it's a good option for training.

This man rescued Doofy from an abusive owner. He did that so he would have a loving family raise him.
Yes Rosey….. he offered her money that she wouldn’t refuse and has loved and nurtured Doofey from that time on. Look before you accuse! If you had gone back on his videos, you would have known. Kevin is a good man with a tender heart and this Grandmother loves him and what he stands for. He’s blessed and anointed of Godcto do what he does and has a wonderful wife and family. Stop your complaint. There are many, if not thousands of professional trainers that use the same type of training. Implements to train k9's all over the world!
Now look at a guy like Ceasar the dog whisperer...
His techniques are brutal! He manhandls the dogs that he trains, and he gets paid to do it!
Walk in a man's shoes for once, and then physically show everybody your partial point. Obviously, you have never examined a shock collar? They all have settings on them, and Kevin wasn't laying on that button. If it hurt his dog, you would know! Second thing...
If he was using that same collas to hurt his dog, he would also be screaming at him and beating the dog!
Now let's ask this question?
Did that dog run, or even cower from Kevin?
Did the dog run from from Kevin? Did the dog flinch at Kevin's hand movements? Did his dog freak out when the mower was within 4 feet from him?
An abused dog will react in every manner that I have mentioned. Plus, he moved the dog from being out in the direct sun all day and took him to part of the yard to intract and play with him.
I am sorry if you take this as an abusive situation and that you didn't get a participation award for finishing fifteenth as a kid and all, but in my time, you won or lost.
Please do some research first before complaining without facts.
I worked with dogs for 10 years! No I am not claiming myself as an expert, but a shock collar uses low voltage for less than on second, in fact it takes a longer amount of time to sneeze than the actual length of that shock.

🍃I was a fan before, but now that you kept Doofy.....he makes my heart skip a beat ❤ 🦴 🐾 🥰 What a better life you gave him. It was incredibly difficult to watch the first video he was in because it gave me horrific thoughts of that owner. (She didn't deserve that title)😢 I literally cried and cried. (And yes, I am extremely sensitive to animals since they have no voice and most of them are gentle-hearted no matter the hell they experienced.) Now knowing this story, I'm always looking for him ❤. Thank you and your family for taking him in. He had nothing but unconditional love from the start, and now he is receiving it back.

@@margaretlangridgegelmoment6351 he found the dog tied up next door to a house he was un-covering a stone walkway. He bought it from the lady that was abusing it.. he was going to have his wife rehome him but looks like Doofey was a perfect fit for him and his family

I love that you had Doofy trained. I don't like most dogs but it usually isn't the dogs' fault it's the owners because they've allowed and reinforced the bad behavior.

As a dog owner, I completely understand! I also cannot stand people with untrained dogs and they find the behavior acceptable. My dogs are trained not to jump on people, beg at the dinner table etc....I don't get people who let their dogs act ridiculous to guests!

I'm a small woman and I've had big dogs put their paws up on my shoulders and lean into me because their owners do that with them. I can not support their weight.
@@barbaram5787 That's absolutely absurd. People with big dogs need to have even more discipline just because of their size and knocking people over. If a dog jumps on you, stick your knee out. It prevents them jumping and doesn't hurt.
Speaking of safety, please watch that debris flying off the mower, etc. Doesn’t head in Doofy’s direction or he could be very seriously injured. He is a good boy.
Some people just don't understand the importance of raising a well-balanced dog. When it comes to my dog's I prefer to call them well-balanced rather than trained just because I don't train a lot of tricks and when you tell people your dogs trained they tend to go towards the thinking of tricks. But in general my dogs have good manners, they won't swipe your food, jump all over you, lick all over you and they respect personal space. They have been taught to make the correct choices in life and it is so important for their safety and well-being in this world.
I love the name "Doofy" as it fits his wonderful disposition far better than the previous owner's chosen name of "Onery!"

Thank you for saving Doffy too. I'm sure you both will make a great team. Just wondering if Doffy feels too hot with the thick vest on his back while waiting for you? Try parking your truck under the shade so that Doffy won't be too hot. And finally the metal thing that Doffy sits on while waiting for you to transform, over the hours, won't the metal turn hot baking under the sun? Just are my thoughts as an animal lover. Doofy is so happy with Kevin and Family; if you noticed, when Doofy was at that neighbors house that beat him? he always walked with his tail tucked...now he has a air of confidence and Kevin takes good care of him!!!!!!

Nice job. Doofy would be less inclined to go anywhere or cause trouble if he could lie down and have a nap, rather than being made to sit still in one place for very long. Perhaps get him a mattress to put where the mower sits in the trailer and move him when it goes back in. If you train him to "talk" if someone approaches the trailer, he could guard your tools for you.
Not a bad idea, but when I went back and watched where he was 'placed', I don't really think he stood there that long. I trust Kevin to NOT HURT this pup, even accidentally, so I doubt that Doofy was in any discomfort. At least I pray not!
Doofy leads a much better life than the average dog. He spends most of his time with his favorite human, gets to explore many areas of the country, and is well trained for his safety. Doofy is not home alone for eight or more hours while his owner is at work, and does not run out into traffic to get hit by a car or truck.
I don't see it as cruel to Doocy by saying place when he sits on the box. You're keeping him safe as well as the community. So it's great that you put his and others safety first.

That dog is devoted to you❣️I have had my rescues in my long life and every one was grateful, loyal and devoted. They spend their whole life saying thank you. They also want to please you so training helps a lot in giving them the cues for pleasing. They have a language barrier so rather than being confused and wrong most of the time training gives them a pattern and confidence. Thanks for giving Doofy a better life. I think that’s what you call him. He looks healthy, strong and most of all, happy.
