- What would you do if you came face to face with a snake on a trail deep in the forest with your grand kids in tow? What this video of our encounter with a Red Corn Snake (Pantherophis guttatus). Rainbow Lake Trail, Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
Fantastic! Corn Snakes are absolutely beautiful.
Couldn't agree more!
wow! That snake is so pretty. Being from a place where there's not that many snakes, I would have thought that it was a rattle snake. Those kids are so lucky to have a teacher like you to keep them safe, but introducing them to the animals of the world. 🥰
They have a lot of fun exploring nature!
Beautiful snake 🐍 respect to them! Thanks 😊 Your adorable grand kids are learning the right way ❤
Yes, thank you! 😄
We don’t see many corn snakes in my area. They are pretty. Your grandchildren are beautiful! God bless them and you!
Thanks so much! All grandchildren are beautiful! I don't find then so often either so I was pretty excited!
What a cool grandpa you must be!
🤪
I agree, he's a beautiful snake. Very interesting patterns.
Yes...fascinating color pattern!
Hansom snake and cute Grand Kids !!
😀 Grand kids are the best!
Oh you’re the coolest grandpa ever!
Ha! Lol!
A very nice impromptu video, and with your grandkids too. 🙂I love when critters present themselves to me when I'm not even looking ~ it's like they know that, if they make themselves seen by me, they'll be shared with the world for all to admire them. (Which of course is my intention, as nature is awesome!)🧡
Yes! Nature is awesome. I hope to check out your shares as well!
And I am already subscribed...love your Robin sequence...I hope my viewers will check out your shares too!
Thank you for sharing. 😎😎
You are welcome!

I had an albino Corn snake back in the 90's, very tame, love to eat mice, of course I bought it at a pet store. They're very pretty.
That was my first classroom snake as well. Perfect fir introducing snakes to first timers!
Hi Frank from Pennsylvania student Jeff. Awsome snake and grandkids. Its pretty docile. . I was working on SGL 099. Putting up signs for a horse riding trail. There is some areas where they are prohibited. To reduce erosion. I saw 4 scarlet tannagers, several towhees, and a yellow warbler. . Comming back to the HQ i stopped traffic to move a box turtle off the road. A lady driving a truck and horse trailer. Stopped to tell me thank you for doing it. That made my day. . God bless your buddy Jeff. 😊
You know you birds! Fantastic!
I love my birds and black snakes. I wish Frank didn't eat the baby tree swallows.
Hi Frank rewatching. Because what you do is awsome. I've never have seen a corn snake. . Thank you so much. Your student Jeff. Grand kids are awome and lucky to have grandpa Frank God bless😊
A classic!
Lol...I am sure it will show up in somebodies future when they least expect it!
Thank you very much friend for sharing this great video. 👍👍 I loved the explanations and the peace of mind that you have shown us. I am terrified of snakes, I don't know what I would do, possibly turn around.
Greetings . Manuel
Manuel! 🙂 When you see one just stop and watch it and enjoy the experience! You, of course, do not need to pick it up...in fact...despite what I do...I don't recommend it! I hope you will watch my other snake videos...a lot of viewers told me it really helped them get over fear of snakes!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Can you tell me what kind of blue bugs or shrimp or whatever they are that live in the bottom of a well?
Tell me more! Freshwater well? Location, country? State? Open well??
@@natureatyourdoor i Just put up the video, you can get a quick glimpse of them. I will try to get better pictures of them at some point.
