My youngest daughter she got into nursing school she will be a LVN and the one who will have baby shower my oldest is working on her master degree in phycology. @ omgosh! I had a very similar experience. I was 4 and a bunch of teens or young adults had an inner tube tied to a tree near the river, you would ride it down til the tube hit the bank and then bring it back upstream and ride it down again. The river was flowing really strong! They invited me to ride it and as I was going downstream the rope broke and I went tumbling down the river, literally head over heals summersaulting under water down the river thinking I was going to drown when my grandfather reached in and snatched me out of the river! I can still see and feel the water and the rocks as I was tumbling down the river! It’s crazy the chances we took in that river!! We would cross it and play in it, it was a strong current! I don’t know what anyone was thinking! 🤣

@ ah yes, Azusa Canyon! We used to camp there all the time. Pismo Beach was also a favorite. But mostly we camped in the Azusa mountains.
