Okay, I knew of the the chap in Budapest who was shooting these newsreels for Pathé in Hungary. This was shot with either a 35mm or 16mm handheld Arriflex or Eclaire. There was never any location dialog or SFX recorded with it. Just the 24 fps moving images, and the camerman-director provided some written notes as to what is being filmed, where, and why. There was no film lab in Pécs, so the footage was deverloped in Budapest at Filmlabor and sent out by train or aircraft to Vienna or London, or sent out undeveloped and devloped at destination.
