@@AgateDad an online resource in Ontario that shows all claims in an area. Very helpful in staying off claimed land!
@@thirstfast1025 interesting! Such great resources up there, I just dove into Mindat a bit, wow could you get lost on thay site..i need to go back to old spots and discover other minerals that are mind blowing 🤯

How do you know which claims are taken?
Do you know of a similar website for Ontario?

Download Google Earth and use this link to download the data - try the mineral deposits link (MDI). Once downloaded you can open up the .KML file through Google earth. Hope this works out.
On the B.C site you can click the claim cell and it will tell you the owner and status of the claim. Not sure about the Ontario version.
Might be easier to go through MTO online
