I'm no longer affiliated with any education institution, but I still like studying history. The future is "hope", the present is "gift" the past is *wisdom*.
I totally think history is a good thing to learn about, the school system just teaches it by making students remember pointless facts which don’t really educate them much, like you said in the song.
OMG!! This is dope! I was actually looking up how to study history because I have a hard time in that class since I didn’t really like it! Now I have a whole new vision of history! Before I was like “why do we have to hear about wars and depressing story’s?!” And now I get it!

I've been playing Civilization 5 these past few weeks, then a question hit me hard; "why does Ancient Ruin advances my Scout to evolve into an Archer ?". So I searched for "Ancient Archery" on Google, then without knowing I'm already infatuated with History. Then another question arose; "Why should I study the past ?". Wow! I always thought that history was iMac
But... last week we spent two hours learning about a building and how it was covered in gold and silver. And even though some1 is gonna be like "well you need to learn about how they became rich." Yeah, we didnt even talk about how, we just learned what the place was build with. We also have to read 12-16 lessons a week and answer passages depending on "what we need to do" and I still dont understand how this will affect me. Like I dont want to be involved in all of this. I just want to be an entrepreneur and desighn something. And I have an F in world history.
