It's a brilliant road. I think I rode on it whilst on tour a couple of years ago. The views are awesome, and loving the Viffer. Nice ride. The state of the roads is shocking...
We have always known this route as Cross Of Greet. At the top near the cattle grid is a boulder with a square cut into the top, apparently there used to be a cross on top but somebody nicked it or vandalised it.
This was a good mix man. those bird cars are terrifying and ruin a nice chill ride, you need to leave the sheep alone, its for the best, don't want to ruin the helmet,or a range rover.
Id agree this is a superb road, in fact i did it myself 2 days ago (weds) in the same direction after a stop at devils bridge for a bacon buttie as part of a 170mile day out 😀
@@SloboloboVFR I usually aint really a 'biker cafe' kind of guy, i prefer a flask & a buttie sat on a wall enjoying a view, but if i'm in the area i'll stop there as it's pretty good. GL
Usurper, you are not the real Slobo Lobo to talk about respecting speed limits, slowing down... Be careful, you will turn into a master yogi, or end up with dreadlocks 😂
@@SloboloboVFR You seem to be interested in the sheep you see, I said to myself that's it, he's going to sell the VFR to drive a VW van and raise sheep, enjoy nature with his dreadlocks (smoky perfume) in the wind. 🤣
@@marie_prt4 maybe I'm half Welsh? For some that may not know the joke is in the relationship the Welsh is said to have with our fluffy 4 legged friends.
@@SloboloboVFR Thanks for the explanation. I remember a story about sheep, they had grazed on grass (the kind that relaxes, let's say) and were wreaking havoc in a Welsh village.
