Hey guys, a couple updates: Thrayir - Cyclonic Runekey can be fished up as well and seems to be faster. (Make sure you have Khaz Algar fishing) I got to about 50 fishing skill and got it. Otherwise it's potentially up to 60+ kill of Zek'ul. - Torrential Runekey has loads of groups farming the hyperspawn wraiths, to get my 7 fragments took about an hour. If you can farm elite mobs around the island it may be faster.
I ended up getting my Cyclonic runekey via fishing so I can confirm. I had zero fishing bonuses and had just learned Khaz Algar fishing and mine took under 50 casts.
meh, relevant for the rest of the season for me. fact is i'm skipping much of S2 to focus on collecting from old content. i'll put my heart back into gearing during S3.
This is basically the same patch as the Forgotten Isles from Dragonflight, where we were interested when the patch first released, but then as the expansion went on, everyone forgot about the Forgotten Isles. I wonder how long it will be before Siren Isles are also forgotten.

this was the worst update in wow history. This was horrible, disappointing, unreal... If you haven't done this isle yet - there's literally NOTHING THERE! The took software from previous releases, slapped it together - tweaked a few things and called it update 11.0.7. WHAT a joke! I cannot believe this is what they tried to hype! it's all garbage nonsense.

Also confirmed. My fishing lvl was 1. Got it at 28.
You can fish the Cyclonic Runekey. Took very few casts.
I got the Cyclonic Runekey in less than 5 minutes fishing behind where Zek’ul spawned

already got my Thrayir, Eyes of the Storm and by farming Zek I subsequently had 11.5k resources and bought the Vintage Waveshredder.
What happened to the clockwork transmog. Pretty sure wowhead said that was in this patch?
I didn’t hear about this one. Any idea what it was called so I can look into it?
i might skip it today and just do my regular mount farming since the Isle will be packed
7:05 It's not 100% Drop. I've killed it around 6 times and no drop so far
Just go to the vendors and see what you need to collect to buy the items. It is as simple as that
I killed Zek'ul 100 times on PTR and no drop. So I think they changed it.

did you kill him repeatedly on the same character (mebs thurrs a daileh lockout on his loot?)
Cyclonic runekey drops from Zek'ul but the drop rate is very low. It took me about 60 kills spamming LFG. Did it all on 1 toon.
took me a bit over 100+ kills to get 7 Runes and the other rune he drops from himself.
I killed him maybe 20-30 times for the runekey. Not terrible.

I think i will skip this content it offers nothing unique. And is all reused content so hard pass
