You helped a cow over here in the states with your sharing of knowledge. I was at a Cornell cooperative farm in NY and noticed a cow walking lame on her back foot so I told them they should check her hooves, they sent me a message later and said there was a stone in the white line. Thanks for making videos, one of my favorite channels.
@@kiimmig2293 or ones that simply don't care. It's sad. Love this guy. He gives me quite the little boost of faith in humanity I genuinely need every day.
anybody else binges these videos at 3am to fall asleep?.....just me? ok. They're not boring by any means. I just find them soothing:). Holy!! Thanks for the likes you guys!! Sleep well:)
The other day I found out that my father, who has been a veterinarian for over 30 years, had also become a fan of your channel independent of me! It didn't surprise me given his profession, but it was a nice moment of commonality between father and son.
This also happened to me! (My dad is not a vet, though 😅) My family are supporters of Dalscone Farm and I came in one day a few weeks ago and saw my dad watching Hoof GP. I said, "Did you know he's one of the guys who climbed down and rescued Fiona?" He had no clue, the algorithm just started serving him HGP videos and he became hooked
This channel goes to show that passion is interesting. Doesn’t matter what you’re doing. If you’re passionate and enthusiastic about your craft, people will be interested.
FoTo that is so very true, the first person that caught me like that was a guy called Edd China he made working on car engines some of the most interesting stuff I have ever seen.
I've followed him since early 2020. When we chastised him (I'm 70yo) for not wearing eye protection. It is amazing a hoof trimmer could have such a following. He found his passion, as I recall from his step father..
Absolutely true. I have a pretty strong dislike for farming and farm animals due to how I grew up, but I decided to click one of his videos out of morbid curiosity and now I'm kinda hooked. He keeps it just short and sweet enough most of the time that you want to see more, and he has so much passion and enthusiasm when talking about what he's doing, why, and his love for the animals
@@gorillaau You want to be there on January 25. They have a special celebration for it every year!! Lord, I hope you are kidding. Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver, and lungs), minced with chopped onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and cooked while traditionally encased in the animal's stomach. It is served at the Robert Burns Day (his birthday) and the haggis is piped in by the pipers.
Spot on. Ethically, morally, we should treat the other living beings we use for food with the utmost care and compassion while they are in our care. That you for sharing what you do with us.
I agree. I’m fortunate I live rurally in the Mountains of NC with a smaller regional grocery store chain (but a nice regular one…nothing special. They do the labeling on their own) that tells us where some of the meat comes from (locally). I think people for me the area (mostly Scott Irish Descent and Cherokee have always cared for their animals too. Ethical and local food has always been important-or as long as I can remember, it has. I suppose I noticed talk about it in the mid -90s as a teen and it’s a big industry here that locals wanted to support). It became something I cared very much about about since “meeting” calves being raised for veal on a field trip in high school when I was 17. Never had it, never will. It isn’t just that they are a babies (what they do to them is awful. I never buy meat from that farm). It really isn’t that much more expensive, either, to buy from ethical local farmers. If I cut back on meat once or twice a week, it fits in my budget just fine (and that is healthy to do anyways). It tastes better as well. I did my research and always buy from the ethical farms for any animal products since the store started doing it. Particularly one beef and dairy farm as I know then family enough to say hello. The store even sells local honey where I know they treat the bees like the queens they are (many of their hives are actually rescued locally, too. Their keepers will come out and get them for you. They have been known to help with repairs…then don’t pay but they’ll help you patch your home etc. as they have those skills. Or send people who know to help). My favorite cheese is from Wales and I did a deep dive on that farm too via a friend near Cardiff who asked around for me (I do have to go to a specialty shop for it. But only it). The world is connected enough for us to find out where our food is raised ethically (or not). Someone good with tech. could make bank is the made an app where we could find out if a company buys from ethically rated farms (or not)-and how far those farms are from you as well! There would need to be a database, I wish it could somehow be crowdsourced and put together. Maybe it already exists? I have a friend in NYC who buys Kosher for just this reason too (not much of a Kosher population where I live so the closest store is 30 minutes away, otherwise I would too). People like this gentleman in different parts of the world could help put that database together (anonymously so it wouldn’t hurt their businesses).
Agreed. The *Bible* has rules for the humane treatment of animals! (One I can remember is to not tie the ox's mouth so it can't eat what falls out of the mill. The grit and flour that end up where the ox can get to it would go to waste if the ox doesn't eat it and getting that snack encourages the ox to do good work besides also being healthy.)
Remember me of Snake Discovery, they have now a petshop /zoo specialized in reptiles. They breed rodents to use or sell as food. Even those rodents receive enrichment in their cages to have entertainment. ♥️
Texas Rancher here…our grandchildren and I appreciate the time you take to explain what you are doing and why. I really appreciate you showing the beautiful country and villages with quick notes on the history as well. Hopefully one day we can visit this beautiful land! God Bless!
A simple man with a simple story. in a world where only the craziest, most highbrow lives are recorded and seen, it feels good seeing a hard working crew do something so simple, yet so important that truly effects all of our lives. you inspire me to follow my life path as a heavy equipment mechanic. thank you, and keep loving what you do.
Keep in mind absolute most of the trims, unlike human hair cuts, take just a few minutes - quick grinding, a couple of swipes with the knife, all hoofs healthy - next one.
@@lorryr255When you consider that he has to pay for his truck, crush, and other equipment, fuel to get to often-remote farms, plus he pays between one and three other people, it's not much. That $13 doesn't exactly just go straight into his pocket. Edit: Wrote this before he went through all his expenses. He left off the fact that he had two people working on this video, not just him. A wiser man than I once told me that when you're doing what you love as a profession, you'll never work a day in your life. I stumbled upon your channel. I think what you're doing is fascinating. Thank you for creating this content.
@Shelia Metcalfe-Farmer I like the irony of you saying "he done a great job improving his words". Was it deliberate? You perhaps meant "did a great job" or "he's done a great job"? And are you genuinely having a go at a channel uploading free entertainment because you can't understand everything that's said? God, people can be so cheap.
I’ve never seen someone so happy with a smidge of cowpat on their forehead 😄😊 I grew up with horses and a good farrier is worth their weight in gold. For horses (and cows I assume) real hoof problems are the absolute worst. So painful and take an absolute age to heal. Prevention with good husbandry, regular trimming and a skilled farrier saves a fortune in vet bills and and keeps the animals comfortable. I love how passionate he is about the livestock he’s working with!
I grew up with horses too. Our farrier was great. What you say about a good farrier being worth his weight in gold is so true! It’s so important to keep hooves in top notch condition no matter the animal.
@@bbsmumma8630 I have a question at the end of this reply. I had horses when I was younger, and our horse had some quirks, one being that you couldn't wear your hair in a ponytail around him or he would grab it and yank you to the ground. He never did anything to you after, just whinnied like he was laughing about it. Had a farrier come to do his hooves once that didn't listen when we told her she could change the way she had her hair to a low bun but and even explained why, and she didn't listen and got yanked to the ground. I'm pretty sure she didn't come back because she didn't like our horses behavior or the fact that she had three little girls (one being me) giggling at her because she found out we were right. Question is, was she a bad farrier or just a stubborn person? From what I remember she did fine on his hooves but she was cranky about being grabbed by the hair by a horse. What you do think?
Now that I'm an old man sort of, 63 and hope to have many more, I love watching this channel because I see a young man loving what he does and doing what he loves to comfort the creatures in our care. Just as God intended it to be. You look like you love your job and that makes me happy.
Hi Graham! I watch you in Virginia, USA. I'm a church secretary, know nothing about cattle farming, but I love your positive energy and sense of humor. It always brightens my day. I hope to hear a little Tannahill Weavers or Silly Wizard in your background music someday.
@@TheHoofGP -So happy for you and your channel. It's just going to get that much better now that your channel is recommended. Great job and wish you all the best..you really deserve it! 🐄💗
That's what I thought. You get a bad bit of potato and a few eyes and I keep peeling until they disappear. I bet its more complicated than that though. I have only trimmed sheep feet which we mainly do with hand shears rather than a knife on my Dad's farm.
Not sure why but watching you caring for these cattle brings me peace. They poop all over, sometimes on your head, you deal with constant challenges, it’s a job I doubt I could even learn to do well, but you make it look easy and do it with joy, it’s a beautiful thing to watch. God bless you!
My two year old Simon and i watch you every night. He knows when you’re putting medicine, calls the cow lame when it’s walking lame, etc. he’s learning a lot
Seeing the cow with half a digit reminded me of someone who shared a photo of the tattoo they got on their foot. They'd had the big toe removed, so the tattoo is a tag reading "Went to market".
You're one of a very few who truly love what they do. You're very lucky to wake up each day knowing you're doing what you want to do. And unlike so many other professions, your job really helps so many others - even if those others are bovines :) The aerial photography you put up is magical. Would love to see it in person one day.
Started watching a day ago and been hooked! I cant believe how fascinating and cool this is. The views driving to farms, caring for the animals, nothing ever being the same and loving what you do goes a long way. Seldom we find folks who grind and get dirty that take pride and love what they do. The most awesome part is the relationship between you two. You work together so great, get each other and there is no I in the team! You always say "we". As a guy that runs a small company, it means the world when you work with people who really know team work makes the dream work. You guys are awesome!
This channel is by far some of the more wholesome ones out there. There is obvious passion is you job, and the sheer positivity, even when the hooves look bad, is great. Thank you for making these videos! They are getting me through uni and I look forward to them every week!
Really ? If you love your job or what you do for a living I don't see what is that need to do videos and monetize it to get money from UA-cam. To be honest if I see someone do any kind of work when he's charging thousands of dollars and he's recording videos while he's working I would laid off him on the spot plus I will lawsuit for Invaded my privacy or damage may property They are more interested for they passion for make videos for you tube for the only reason they make more money that they make for what they claim the is their loving job and passion!!! Of course they always going to make a good excuse they do for the good reason yes the only good reason is to make extra money For the only reason to much is not enough!!!
@@FOX78-r8h doing videos is a hobby. he enjoys his job. he knows the farmers, and has asked for permission to record. he obviously edits his videos, or has someone to edit them (pretty well may I add), and likes putting out content. believe it or not it takes time to record, cut up, edit, voice over and upload a video. If you don't like his videos, it's fine, but it's unfair to make assumptions like that about his work. You can believe what you want, but from what I have gathered, Graeme enjoys his job, and enjoys sharing it. If it brings joy to others, so be it. But he puts his job before everything else, and makes it as educational as possible. I knew nothing about cows before, and now I understand the significance of what a lime line is, what happens to a cracked horn that's been grown over, and the importance of pinpointing where the pressure of the foot will be. that's more than what I could have asked for when watching random UA-cam videos
@@SN-of5tu couldn’t agree more. And he’s far from the only professional on UA-cam who either wants to share and educate others about what they do OR just want to share their passion. I don’t see it any differently than when my elderly neighbour teaches me a new recipe while I’m working at my local coffee shop or when I talk to the teenagers in my neighbourhood while they rake the leaves of their mom’s lawn. UA-cam is a wonderful, all be it a sometimes confusing, place where you can learn about just about anything or feel uplifted by great content. The Hoof GP manages to always do booth!
@@FOX78-r8h you know, I debated on replying to this post. But I decided to take a moment and share some history with you. What you are commenting on has been 19 years in the making. From the death of his father, the the loss of the family farm being sold out from under him, a couple of years at university, photography classes, a couple of years in the hospitality industry, a career change, time spent training with a professional hoof trimmer, and 8 years of building his business and clientele. You weren't there when he agonized over whether or not he should take the channel into monetization or the go fund me so he could make a down payment on his brilliant new crush. Nor were you there when he was showing signs of exhaustion from editing his videos on the side. Or when he debated on bringing in another person to help him. Or even the debate if he could bring in enough money to support them both and their families. That is what you cavalierly criticized. Don't judge a person's life by the chapter you walked in on. Graeme has a large following because he's earned it. He takes time out of his private life to make compelling content for both the layman and the professional, which is no easy task. I would say that he has earned every penny and all of the good will that you see him receive. Those that know his channel and subscribe love him with good reason. Lastly, he epitomizes what a good person ought to be. He will read your comment, like he reads all comments, and with the nobility of his character he will decline to criticize you as you have him. You Sir, have erred in your judgment of this man. Good day to you.
Stumbled upon your channel a few days ago, been enjoying it ever since. Its gotta be one of the strangest, unexpected enjoyable channels I've ever found. Keep it up, good fellow, and thanks for taking good care of our animal friends.
This is exactly how most of us got to know Graham and lm sure everyone of us would also love to have a pint with him and Craig. Strangely enjoyable indeed.
Welcome to the group. I think a lot of us are in the same boat. Hoof GP is in my weekly rotation of vids to always watch. Great vibe, great dudes, and little doggies!
This one, AntsCanada and a random channel of a guy that does rat extermination using minks and dogs are the most random stuff that youtube has showed me that I actually really really enjoy
I know I should be asking why UA-cam recommended me this channel, but I think a bigger question should be why I find these videos so fascinating and cool. The things you do for those cows is so amazing, man.
Everywhere he drives looks like something straight out of a postcard. It’s absolutely gorgeous there he is one lucky man getting to live in somewhere so beautiful it was such an amazing history
Parts of western WA still look as green like this. I grew up next to a dairy farm against the backdrop of the Cascade mountains and Mt. Rainier and it was beautiful. Sadly, its all upscale cookie cutter housing developments now. But there are still some beautiful green large dairy farms there in the more rural areas hours away from Seattle/Tacoma.
I absolutely love the kindness and care that you give the animals in your hands. I'm finding myself bingeing your talent. Thank you for sharing with us this part of your life.
I came by your channel accidentally I’m a musician in Australia and i am astounded that I find what you do so interesting and sometimes mesmerising. Blows me away Thank you
It is so grand to hear someone who truly loves what they do and makes such a difference in the world. Craig, you have a lovely singing voice. I love your sense of humor!
I absolutely love the drone footage, the music you choose and your banter with your brothers-in-law. Your compassion for the animals you treat is endearing. I’m addicted but let me tell you I’m glad there is no smellavision 😂.
Every time I watch I wonder what the cost is to the client and the number in my head was $30-45 per cow. I’m shocked it’s only $13 per. This work is worth much more!
What we don’t realize, and he touches on it from time to time, is that most cows don’t take very long to trim. He can normally do about 20 cows in two hours, which is about £200 or $260 for two hours work!
I am glad you posted this. I'm having extreme anxiety, medication withdrawals, and haven't been out of bed in three days. I haven't eaten or anything but this video has calmed me down. Thank you.

I find your work amazing. I grew up in rural Australia and although I knew kids who grew up on dairies I was completely unaware that a) cows got their feet trimmed b) that they are known as claws c) that it could be so satisfying watching you work your 'magic' to make these animals feel a whole lot better!
Really amazing how docile they are. Unfortunately I've never had the privilege of being on a farm, but I respect those that do this incredibly important work. Cheers from across the pond! Oh, that was a beautiful town, btw.
It is great from you to share some numbers related to your business. Sometimes we feel intimidated or too exposed to competition when being asked about our numbers but in your case this just shows openness and trust in your own skill and experience.
How many of us are here not because we have cows but just because Graham is just a genuine hard working good guy that we just want to hang out and hear about his day. Graham, I’m glad you love what you do. It wouldn’t be my choice but that’s why there are so many choices of career.
So impressed with your page! Never thought I would find myself enjoying watching cow hooves being trimmed! But I do. So happy you have found your passion at a young age. I'm 60 years old, couldn't wait to get off the farm, but now I miss it. I still haven't found my passion. Maybe it's not too late. Thanks for all you do!!!
Graham you are the calmest person on this planet. As an old American veteran, I appreciate everything that you do. Is it possible to post where you get your music for your videos?
Love this channel because it promotes animal Well-being and is a family- friendly way to teach my kids about where things like the meat on the table comes from and how it’s grown - so they can connect the number of opportunities around farming besides the obvious farmer - so they can see the industry as a fun way to work with nature to help bring food to family tables. From an office worker in Palm Desert, CA, USA. They’ve seen my office but I want them to know the world so they can see a plethora of possibilities. Helps that we have Scottish heritage and 7 generations ago, earned our way up from plowing and farming. They fact that they can see how essential and important farming work still is and animal husbandry is so valuable. Thank you!
This is my favorite video of all you have ever made. Trims, stories, beautiful drone shots, fabulous music, personal inside look at your life and dreams. I have come back to this one numerous times. I also like that it is a bit longer than many of your newer ones.
Been watching for about a year and still look forward for every video. I would also like to thank you for introducing me to one of my favorite songs, “I fall into you”.
I love how you've told us a bit of your work history and that you've found your calling. I feel like I can really relate to this. I was a qualified Cabinet maker for nearly 20 years. About 10 years ago, had a career change, worked for public transport for 5 years, then went back to cabinet making for 6 years, then had another career change (due to injury), and now I'm a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist, taking people's blood for blood tests for the Dr). Been at it since April this year and I love it! Similar to your job, It is very repetitive, but the variety keeps it interesting. Veins on some people are easier to find than others, and some people can be hard to bleed one day, then the next I can bleed them no worries. And just about every day, I see a request for a test I've never seen before, or a request with Dr's rotten handwriting, so I have to call said Dr to ask what they'd written. Love it. Keep up the great work!!!
Thank you for sharing such a positive video. I live in the USA and the drama surrounding the presidential election is not pleasant. I really appreciate seeing the normal, healthy routine you and Craig maintain in such a beautiful country setting.
I stumbled across this channel and I'm very astounded... I do flooring coverings for a job and I have to admit , I'm addicted to these hoof trimming vids.👍
🤣 "It cost $134.9 million dollars to fly from New York to Boston." Once you get that first passenger to pay for the whole plane, the rest is pure profit!
You know when you start recognizing the different farms, you’ve been watching these videos a long time. Can’t stop so intrigueing! Great love of the bovines and wonderful well done job.
You probably get this question alot , "How often do you trim a cow's hoof? Does it vary by dairy vs beef cattle?" Love the drone footage of the country side.
It's mainly only a problem for dairy cows kept in barns. Cows need to walk to naturally wear down their hooves and since dairies often don't have the pasture space to allow all their cattle to wander day and night, these cows stand in their own waste and their hooves never get a chance to wear down.
@@alistairclement4239 Most are simple trims with no complications, yes. They still are needing a trim though which means their feet aren't wearing down naturally.
I’m a new subscriber. Even though I’m no farmer or rancher I love animals and I find this both fascinating and satisfying to watch! You seem like a real pro and you care for the animals you help. They aren’t just dollar signs to you! Your a stand up lad! Thanks for the awesome content brother!
I have been silently bingeing The Hoof GP the past week. I love your videos - in between trimming hoofs and seeing the cows get better, you mixed it with jokes, serious and reflective thoughts, music and beautiful views of the Scottish countryside. I'm in my 40s, had been through many jobs, and am now in the middle of a career switch into nursing (another healing job, haha). I never thought I'd go into nursing, but here I am. What you said here resonated with me :). Keep up the good work (both the trimming and the videos)!
What a beautiful place you are blessed to live and work.. You guys are absolute masters of your craft and I'm sure the cows/bulls appreciate the relief!

i love your passion for the cows health and well being. I'm a chef and I preach alot about farm to table, ethical ranching and farming techniques and the symbiotic relationship the whole system forms. Really liked the vid.

I am a recent devotee to your channel. This is the most uplifting vlog I have seen. Thank you for the content of all your vlogs, but this one in particular. I am so pleased to hear you have found your calling in life, many of us retire without ever having done so. Thank you. Cheers.
if he took good care of them then why are there a host of horrible abscesses and injuries on this channel that very clearly took a while to form and went unnoticed for that duration? He clearly needs to have less animals because he can't handle this in a more humane way.
It was cool to hear the different career choices you’ve made over the course of your life. It’s absurd to push kids to decide what they want to do by the time they’re 18 and going to college. I have one year left of my degree (I’m 32) but I still don’t really know what I want to be when I grow up.
There's something really satisfying from watching you trim the cow's hooves. I think it's knowing you are giving them pain free lives. I think it's knowing how much you love your job and how much you care. I think it's that you share the life you share with your family and friends. The scenery. The music. Am I the only that feels satisfied when he trims the hoof by hand? That’s why I love his vids so much. It actually calms me down when I’m very VERY stressed. Also his accent is calming for sure!! But the best part is when he takes big chunks off the hoof. The sound when he hand trims is relaxing too. It’s almost like peeling a potato or at least it looks that way!! Am I the only one that feels this way about his vids? Still you freakin rock man and your vids majorly rule!! Please keep making new vids!!
Love, hearing you talk, about being a hoof trimmer, how much you charge etc. Love knowing the history of each of the cows, and why and how you trim each one.

That kinda seems like a backhanded complement. But you're smart sounding. Cudos.
I agree, I’m from Chicago and never touched a cow. Never met anyone from Scotland but interested by his passion and demeanor.
The Scottish Tourism Board should be using you guys!
I live in the South of France and suddenly I want to visit Scotland and take pictures of cows...
Read ur response and I too want to visit Scotland as I sit here on the south side of Chicago and watch multiple of gp a day lol 😆
If you do be sure to go see Galashiels and the Edinburgh art gallery and museum . It'll be a special treat.
Don't kill the Haggis.☺️😉
YES! That’s what I’ve been thinking. I want to save enough to visit Scotland one day! So beautiful!❤
@@ladyhawk5245What time of year is it breeding season for Haggis? My partner would like to see the young ones.
100% correct. I reckon them having the absolute best of care is the least we can do.
And also, the more love you give them before the end of their life, the more healthy and wholesome the meat will be. :)
Remember me of Snake Discovery, they have now a petshop /zoo specialized in reptiles. They breed rodents to use or sell as food.
Even those rodents receive enrichment in their cages to have entertainment.

I’m blown away at the $13 per trim. I can’t even get a hair cut for that cheap. Thank you for sharing some of the ins and outs of your business
What about getting your nails done? Talk about expensive! Screaming at me "What color, what color".
Keep in mind absolute most of the trims, unlike human hair cuts, take just a few minutes - quick grinding, a couple of swipes with the knife, all hoofs healthy - next one.
Yeah..... In and out in about 5 minutes so that's a good hourly rate of pay!
I've seen him with a many as four extra people, though.
Why does it cost to trim a horse?

@Shelia Metcalfe-Farmer I like the irony of you saying "he done a great job improving his words". Was it deliberate? You perhaps meant "did a great job" or "he's done a great job"? And are you genuinely having a go at a channel uploading free entertainment because you can't understand everything that's said? God, people can be so cheap.
I’ve never seen someone so happy with a smidge of cowpat on their forehead 😄😊
I grew up with horses and a good farrier is worth their weight in gold.
It’s so important to keep hooves in top notch condition
no matter the animal.

I've learned so much from watching this..wouldn't think that hoof pain stops them eating and therefore stops the milk !!
My farrier is worth his weight in gold! I do wonder whether The Hoof GP does horses too 😆😂❤️
@@bbsmumma8630 I have a question at the end of this reply.

Graeme has a large following
because he's earned it. He takes time out of his private life to make compelling content for both the layman and the professional, which is no easy task.

You probably get this question alot , "How often do you trim a cow's hoof? Does it vary by dairy vs beef cattle?" Love the drone footage of the country side.
Seems he does it 6-8 weeks usually, but sometimes more often
It's mainly only a problem for dairy cows kept in barns. Cows need to walk to naturally wear down their hooves and since dairies often don't have the pasture space to allow all their cattle to wander day and night, these cows stand in their own waste and their hooves never get a chance to wear down.

Never thought I'd be watching someone trim cow feet ,but I'm loving it🤣😂😂
LOVE YOUR CONTENT man keep up the great work
I’m not a hoof trimmer but I do have to see multiple businesses a day. I always use the “after lunchtime” trick to give me a between 12:30-2:00 in case the first appointment goes totally sideways.
i love your passion for the cows health and well being. I'm a chef and I preach alot about farm to table, ethical ranching and farming techniques and the symbiotic relationship the whole system forms. Really liked the vid.
I do admit, eating food prepared by someone called Gopher might be a bit off-putting lol.
It's a cow spa and you got the ladies all lined up. You do beautiful work and the care you take shows in your work.
You are my favorite, hope you get your 500,000 soon. You have me laughing and crying, never know what to expect with my emotions lately. Treasure what you have, such a lovely family.
Ive just came across your videos and i have to say, I am completely blown away by your work, what you do and how you do it. Your amazing what you do and how you help these lovely cows. Your a credit to this world, Keep up the good work
I’m a horse farrier in Oregon and I just came across your channel. Its interesting to learn the process of trimming cows. Loving your videos
I am a recent devotee to your channel. This is the most uplifting vlog I have seen. Thank you for the content of all your vlogs, but this one in particular. I am so pleased to hear you have found your calling in life, many of us retire without ever having done so. Thank you. Cheers.
Love how you talk about the enjoyment you out of helping the cow's.
I feel the same way about helping & healing horses
if he took good care of them then why are there a host of horrible abscesses and injuries on this channel that very clearly took a while to form and went unnoticed for that duration? He clearly needs to have less animals because he can't handle this in a more humane way.
@@kareemsaid5709 they arent his animals
he gets called out to look at other people's cows
The countryside you get to see every day would be enough to keep me motivated. You and Craig do some amazing work helping happy cows
Watching makes me feel relaxed, all
that cleaning up.
It was cool to hear the different career choices you’ve made over the course of your life. It’s absurd to push kids to decide what they want to do by the time they’re 18 and going to college. I have one year left of my degree (I’m 32) but I still don’t really know what I want to be when I grow up.
That’s yo problem, yo ass already grown.
@@Easymoneysniper5 no that's not true
@@Easymoneysniper5 😂😂 32 talking bout he don’t know what he wanna be when he grows up 😂😂 what’s wrong with the world today man
At one point you need to start feeding yourself.

There's something really satisfying from watching you trim the cow's hooves. I think it's knowing you are giving them pain free lives. I think it's knowing how much you love your job and how much you care. I think it's that you share the life you share with your family and friends. The scenery. The music. It's a great channel for this city girl to watch. I've learned so much.
It makes me so happy to see these cows get their hooves healed and see them feel so much better afterwards.
Amen
Happy meal !
I love how you refer to your career as a calling.
Loving the passion and loyalty to your farms and their precious cargo!

Latecomer only been watching for 6 months but i love this channel after literally being born on a farm yes my dad was a dairy man and he delivered me on the farm it self after heavy snowfall in the uk (bk in 71) and living on top of the hill i loved it and cows are better than people forward to 2012 i move up to Scotland to be with my now partner i do miss the country side but with my partner being wheelchair bound and no car its public transport we rely on and watching graham and the guys work in unison and care about such a beautiful creatures thank you for taking me back home to england even though its apart of Scotland i haven't seen
"get us to half a million" happy to see that the channel is BLASTING off. Keep it up guys
Without a doubt, Scotland is one of the most beautiful places on earth. ❤
Love, hearing you talk, about being a hoof trimmer, how much you charge etc. Love knowing the history of each of the cows, and why and how you trim each one.
I've never commented twice on a video before but this was just fantastic. I know how much work you put into this, not to mention the trimming! Fantastic
I love how you broke down your entire business in simple terms. I wish you much success!
I watch you pretty much all the time, I love to sit and pet my cat while watching your videos, it make both me and my cat happy! Also, Craig is amazing at singing, I wanna here him sing more!!
"...or rather than walking, she runs perfectly fine" It has to be my favorite line in all of your videos so far. Hello from New Jersey in the US. I didn't know cow feet could be this interesting/ captivating.
Absolutely love your channel and fascinated by your passion, skill, and all of the great shenanigans on your channel. My Best to Mrs. HGP, the Littles, Craig, Kevin and everyone else.

Well done on 500k Graeme. I remember when 50k seemed such a milestone. You deserve everything good that comes your way.
Happy Ne’erday to you and your wife and of course the bairns, human and furry xxx
8:25 I love that they left the brother-in-law’s voiceover in. He said it’s actually Craig that’s the brains of the operation lol.
I also like that he breaks down the figures and shows how much everything costs. It’s good to know. Transparency shows good intentions.
As much as I learn from watching Graeme, I laugh about Craigey boy and his sense of humor. "Yup, I'm good...she's juss nought where she's meant tah bee."
I never thought I would be so interested in trimming cows feet but here I am watching and leaving a comment. Seems like this guy really loves what he does and has genuine love for the animals he cares for.
