mainly people who are not rich but are hardworking and ambitious and want to stay in a system that works with security and civility with an inclination for the finer points of life will enjoy Canada (heaven).
I’m humbled by the way you narrate peoples migration expectations and experiences. If people come to Canada for quick wealth, they will be very disappointed. In fact any foreign country.

By your mid forties which is wgere we are you r pretty settled at home so the decision to leave is hardly about you n rather about those who come after u... Someones gotta do it...
Regarding the do-it-yourself culture in Canada, it sounds as if many immigrants who were well off at home have exchanged an upper-class lifestyle for a middle-class lifestyle (i.e., comfortable, but not very luxurious).
Actually, nothing guarantees that you will by now still be keeping your job if you stay back, especially banking industry in Nigeria and all it's issues that comes up every now and then. Also, the jobs paying high in one country may not be what pays high in another so, better to get knowledge and decide on what you are expecting. Finally, the West is different from Africa where you can start business without really registering a company. Don't forget also that there are many businesses that fail back in Nigeria even when there is no pandemic. You can provide service for someone and they will refuse to pay plus, they can lobby to ensure they go free(you know what I mean) so, nothing really guarantees that staying back in your home country will make things better.
@@bibascanadianjourney Indeed. Goals are achieveable however if one is flexible with being open minded. The rule of thumb is to learn how to operate in the economy and, be paid. I just stumbled on some of your videos as I have been researching on relocation. Your videos are highly informative and very interesting 😊. Please is there a way I can get some informations privately 🙏?
12:37 diy life style is my style. Virtually every thing in my duplex in Nigeria was done by me. Handrails, wall screed, paint production, wardrobes, door installations, some electrical fittings and more were done by me. These are the things my beautiful wife sees in me and say am wasting time in Nigeria and that I'll do better in a country like Canada because of my skills. My wife calls me multipurpose. I intend setting up a business if we eventually move to Canada.
@@peculiarokafor2986 Am an architect am already in real estate. But all of the things I mentioned above won't pay much here in Nigeria because Nigerians don't appreciate such.
Hello Chris, so a few people mentioned the weather, but it wasn't a deal breaker for them. My next video is going to be about an immigrants guide to surviving the Canadian winter. Please stay tuned 🙏 😉 ☺
I was expecting that you'll mention finding a spouse as a single. Most people complain about this. Should this be a genuine reason to go back home or delay one's coming until one finds a spouse?
Actually, your chances of attracting someone back home after you have migrated ought to be higher, you may not so much look forward to meeting someone in Canada. This doesn't mean you cant meet someone, I know someone who met her to be husband in Canada. If you let relationship keep you back from moving, dont forget that you have been in your home country for a while too and you still dont have a relationship
Hello Comfort, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yes starting a business here is very possible. Loads of immigrants here have their own businesses and are doing good.
A bit scared oo, but nahhhhh we still doing this😬. Biba, please can you do a video on what to expect especially with kids. I'm concerned about the cold winter and it's effect on toddlers. How are you coping with your little one?

Thanks Habiba. Very useful. Beyond information, do you offer consultancy service for people that want to relocate?. I would want to have your email address.

Hello, you are very right! The truth is that nothing is guaranteed in both countries. I never saw it this way, thanks for pointing this out.
Preach it Sister. Thorough research is absolutely necessary prior to migration. Failure to do so may end up with disappointment.
Thanks A.R- youre so correct , that's why some people end up disappointed!
