I was roomies for two years with a Vietnamese immigrant. At that time he was literally skimming the bottom of the barrel was going through some tough times, financially, personally, and also with the courts. I never thought, ten years later, he'd have his education done, and be teaching full-time in Vietnam, living the good life. But that's what happened. Proud of him.
I had the same plan as well even before I joined the army. However, realistically you should say it how it is which is pursue a career path with a lot of opportunity. I have been trying to drill my battles to do the same but no one really can see the vision I have so I usually don’t force it but I still try my best to guide them based on what career path they want to follow.
I concentrated on emphasizing aspects of my job experience that were not showcased through my Army experience. For instance, while my resume already demonstrates ample leadership experience from my time in the Army, in my previous job, I highlighted how I increased revenue and made data-driven decisions to enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in my operations role. It also helped that I had a computer science degree from my undergraduate so that probably helped on my resume. (I can't code at all right now though lol.. except maybe with some help from ChatGPT)
I used Lucas Group at the time. I also talked with Cameron Brooks but they had some exclusivity contract nonsense lol. My advice for working with these recruiting agencies is just to make sure you are using them to get connected for interviews and they are not using you to place you in a job that you don’t actually want.
Hi Sir, How are you doing? Do you want an SEO specialist & UA-cam thumbnail designer to grow your channel? Anyway, Can we have a meeting to know more clearly? Thanks

That’s great to hear! Tough times create tough people!
Great insight on career advancement! Especially about the advancement by switching over to a newer experience and pursuing a higher education. 🙏
Thanks for watching! It would have been the safer and less risky choice to stick with my first job but I'm glad I ventured out to try another field.
