Hi Marcus. I was fortunate to be given a second hand Vibe as my first, carbon DLG. I'm a late starter at 60.I would like to thank you for taking the time to post a video. For me as a newbie, the information is highly valuable. Thanks again.
Thank you Marcus and even though your video was posted 5 years ago it's still very relevant for pilots who want to extract every bit of performance from their machine especially for competition. Some have stated its too OCD and for them it may be correct for a casual Sunday flier but your precise and complex setup along with extensive tuning efforts I can understand is crucial to achieve the level of performance required in a competition environment.
Fantastic video, many thanks for making this! My Vibe is on it's way, and now after watching your video, I realise I have a lot to learn in this next chapter of my RC life. All the best!! /Anton
Hello Marcus, i like your video very. I also have a MX-20 and am going to tune it for DGl flying. Is it possible to get a copy of your settings file from the MX-20 as a starting point how to make al the settings? Thanks Peter.
Thanks for the video, im into the 1m malibu after the whipit experience hooked me. This was very informative and radio layout is always good to compare peoples solutions for controls. Thanks again ill checkout your other videos hope to see some more in feild tests for tuninig and tips for flight. If your up brisbane way let me know would be great to see first hand and maybe have a little comp tips. If and when there is any up this way...
Cool story bro, but anyone can catch a boomer thermal and ride it all day long, it's a whole different story to float your glider around a small field at only about 20 feet up and keep it up there with snail farts for exactly 9:58, go learn about F3K and come back when your glider balls have dropped
That THR to flaps mix at around 10 mins in the video, to make the flaps come down exactly evenly, is pure OCD. I'd bet that you can't feel any difference without those 1% corrections.

Very much appreciated. The setup, the rationale, and then a mock flight where you go thru the settings is a great way to 'pay it forward'.tn
Thanks for the tuning tips! I am just starting out with DLG and have been looking for the hows and whys of transmitter setup.

I watched another setup video who said to use differential the opposite way! I’m inclined to try it your way.
Did you try that out, how'd it work?
Thanks for sharing this nice video. What is the smartbox hanging off of your radio? Is that power monitoring?
Great vid. Had to turn it off when i realized you fly mode 1.
What battery are you using and whats the weight of it? Whats the total weight of the glider with battery?
Where did you get the dlg?
Whats it weigh then mate.?
Had my crappy longshot up sooo long that it hurt my neck and came down. I didnt do any of this setting up crapp this guy is so overly OCD about.
