Can we get some more footage of the actual woodwork in future videos? The commentary and reasoning behind stuff is good, but would also like to see some of the process of the step that gets talked about.
Thank you for the input. There are so many videos out there that detail the different processes involved that it is hard to know what to include and what not to - and how much would be redundant. For instance, I use the same masking tape and super glue technique with a straight edge and a router to taper the necks. I use wood rasps and the pencil line/bevel technique to carve a neck - easily a hundred videos out there on how to do that - and things like gluing and clamping panels together with pipe clamps. If you look at the number of views on part one and part two, you see that a lot more people are only interested in seeing and hearing the finished product than are interested in the build process - 410 (pt.2) vs. 188 (pt. 1) at the moment that I'm writing this. I'll try to put more detail in future videos - but it's a real guessing game about what to cover and what not to. Who wants to watch a 60 year old man wearing +3.25 reading glasses so he can see a pencil guide line when he's trying to carve a neck? Getting old is not for the weak.. :-)
