i a nice little idea of how shanks conviced kaido not to go to marineford now that i saw how gildarts is made. shanks just opened a p[ortal with haki to fairy tail. one shoted gildarts and then captured all those fairy tail bitches and gave them to kaido as a sacrifice . Facts

Because this is completely perfect. I love the fact that you chose less "mainstream" character to pay attention to. This video did him justice for sure. Your flow is wonderful, your ability to create the right atmosphere is perfect.

Such a shame Gildarts had so little screentime in whole of the series, but considering how OP he is, it would've been pointless to include him in all the other arcs

Ok... Don't tell me I'm the only one that thinks this but seriously... If Shanks from One Piece was a wizard... It'd be Gildarts. Or if Gildarts was a pirate, it'd be Shanks. Like... seriously? They both lose a limb, they both act like fathers to the main male character, they both got that epic hairstyle/beard combo, and they're both incredibly strong.

The only reason why Gildarts isn't in my top 5 fav characters is that we never really see him fight really. Most of the time he is just stopping or push them away from him. I haven't even seen his magic at work. I mean his main magic not the stuff he showed to Natsu on the island.

Yes you did. Their look migt be close but they are totally different. We should not judge them by how they look. ( I don't feed any anger to One Piece, I love both Gildarts and Shanks, Luffy and Natsu)
FT might be just inspired by OP, but the story and characters personalities ar different. Btw Gildarts is more attractive as a man xD OP animation is messy.
