Unfortunately most people think the adam west series is unintentionally funny, where in fact they knew exactly what they were doing when making it. Thats why it's hillarious in the proper way, it had to appeal to adults too
Batman and Robin (like Batman Forever) had a BOATLOAD of good songs that weren't even hinted at in the actual film. If they would have fully used the soundtrack they had, that would have made it better by at least 2-3%.
Even Joe's Schumacher start badmouthing Batman and Robin. He said that the studio insisted that he make the movie specifically to sell toys that you even invented. Word called toyrific. Schumacher said he never should have taken that movie. The second he heard that term.

It is just silly to call Catwoman a Batman movie when it has nothing to do with character at all. It's not set in Gotham, The lead character isn't even Selina Kyle, and she gains actual cat powers and is not a thef. Catwoman is more like a very poor rip off of spider-Man.

I am positive the reason we don't haven't had a good Batman live action movie since Dark Knight, is because Warner Bros never hired a good script writer for the man. I mean they gave Ben Affleck Batman a gun. Batman doesn't use firearms. I've heard the newest Batman movie is good. If they can get someone to write a script that really portray Batman and the characters accurately, and use the interesting story Arcs; Batman would be a huge hit. Or at least the movie rep would be. But nah, dude 😅😅
I actually liked Batman v Superman (aside from when the movie stopped to show a sizzle reel for Justice League), but I'd have to say the DCEU just did things wrong. The FIRST movie should have been a Batman movie, maybe a Green Arrow movie or something, then bring in Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg. Then bring in Green Lantern and Superman right before a Justice League Movie. Build up from the non-powered vigilantes to Earth-based meta humans to aliens. The MCU did it right, starting small with Iron Man and Hulk, then the more sci-fi ones afterwards. I think WB just thought that between Batman having so many movies and wanting to catch up to Marvel, they didn't think they needed to introduce this new Batman.
The batman rule until 1992 was: never use a gun to kill Since 1992 the animated series the rule changed in to : never kill atall --T.Butron did a great job in batman character, in 1985 DARK KNIGHT RETURNS g.novel batman killed Joker as also in another book he killed K.G.Beast but with the moral coad not to use a gun and that's the original 🦇 rule:No guns ¬ No killing and it makes sense, cuz he's not a cop, he's a vigilante like the Punisher of Marvel, vigilanties do kill but as a last choice..
For what it’s worth, the Batman forever/ &Robin were not going for hyper realistic adaptation. Shumacker went with the super campy kids superhero comic cartoon come to life take on it. For that, he achieved it rather well. They’re not great in the sense of dark, realistic, more adult take on it, but for kids it absolutely succeeded in that sense. When I was a child I loved all the movies. Now as an adult I see the silliness and I love my more dark adaptations soooo much more. My fave one now is The Batman. Masterpiece hands down. I do love the BvS movie as well and the snydercut JL. Phenomenal
I was just thinking back in August they said someome finally has the Schumacher cut of Batman forever i kinda womder if Batman forever was suposed to be a solo batman film with the original plan being a 3 hour dark batman movie and when batman and robin flooped a year later 6 flags did riddlers ride instead of mr freezes ride the mr treeze animation to batman and robin was cancled one day hope shout factory gets ahold of that 3 hour batman forever cut
I consider Batman & Robin unwatchable. I failed several times to even make it to the end. Even if you watch it ironically, it gets super boring halfway in and you feel like wasting your time. I consider Batman Forever a guilty pleasure for its crazy style and use of laser and lights (like, EVERYWHERE), but this one is just utter junk.
People really want to have their cake and eat it too. They want to have a dark gritty weathered Batman that will resort to killing any common criminal, any other potential threat, maybe even a few actual villains. But everyone loves the joker so goddamn much and he's so iconic for Batman that nobody can ever commit to having a batman who kills him too unless it's some super detached spin-off where Batman has basically become the villain. People start to wonder why Batman doesn't kill and the answer is because if he did you wouldn't have much of a story left. You just have a story where some guy is so insane and unhinged that he dresses up as a vigilante and kills a bunch of people dispensing his own personal harsh justice. Which is basically exactly what the character started as before they realized if they could bring back characters as villains they could have a lot more to work with. And actually managed to build up a history for the character that doesn't amount to "and then he killed a guy."
@@Hi_Just_Fred I’m going to note something. Batman in this universe shows no reservations from killing. Snyder himself made fun of Batman fans standing by his No Kill Rule with, “You’re living in a fairytale.” In that world, why would Batman not already kill the Joker in reality? In the main continuity it’s because he doesn’t kill. In Flashpoint it’s because Martha Wayne is the Joker and Thomas Wayne is Batman. You need a really good reason for Batman to not kill the Joker in a universe where Batman will gladly wax the goons.
This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I believe that the Dark Knight Rises should be on this list. I think that's one of the dumbest hardest to watch longest slowest Batmans I've ever seen some of the weirdest Batman story elements. Bane was cool though
Michael Caine was good, but one of the reasons why I think Gough did it better (despite the Burton/Schumaker series being worse) is that Caine seemed to be a little too familiar for a live-in servant. I generally prefer TAS' Alfred, although he may have been a little too free with his sarcasm.
Bruce's love interest in Batman & Robin is Julie Madison. A actual character from the Batman Comics. Really no point of complaining screen time because you'd complain if she had more scenes, dont deny it.😊 You should a video of negative things in Nolan's trilogy and Affleck's Batman. Instead complain on older ones. No film of DC been perfect or accurate 100%. I could do a video on negative things in recent Batman films, lol so i'll spare you time.😊
Is this seriously the entire video? Like I don't mind the compilation of all the bad batman/batman related movies, I haven't watched some of them so this is an okay thing. But why does it have to be in the style of like a vhs tape on a small ass screen. Its like the only focus is the center of the screen, but the original video has parts that are cut off because of the frame of the screen. The original videos were specifically recorded in a specific format, using this format cuts majority of the frame out with the only focus being the center. It would have been great to do this like its a vhs tape going into a vhs player and then zooming into the screen so that atleast parts of the video aren't off frame. Like come on
I was at the cinema for Batman and Robin and the whole cinema went banzuca when the nipple and ass close-ups came to the screen, and honestly, I'm gay but I equally hated it, I would appreciate it in a porn parody of Batman, but not in the real thing, that thing took Batman way to the way it was many years priours when people used to mock the relation of Batman and Robin as a gay couple and the 60s version of Batman was the only version people remembered of him on the screen, like a joke
I do agree with batman and robin it was basically parody. and all the points you came up with are right on the nose. but as far as catwoman I'm not in total agreement. maybe its because I only glanced at batman returns so I didn't know about similarities between catwoman of both shows. however reinventing a character with different story isn't necessarily a bad thing considering its not about batman but catwoman. It would be nice if there was some of Batman into it but then the show would have to be different all together which would not allow for a different story line. now some of this movie was kind of like a cartoon portray of a character but other than that the story of someone who is outcast and shy to turn into a hero that is often a good premise in a hero type movie even now. and character does not have to be unattractive to be an outcast. as far as superpowers I haven't seen the movie in a long time so I don't remember all of her powers. but giving someone who's name is literally catwoman cat's night vision is perfectly fine in my opinion. now its not a movie I cared about that much but it wasn't horrible (although it could have been executed little bit better) as far as Batman vs superman I never seen the movie so I don't know. I know my favorite Batman was the one with Christian Bale and I think that is the one worth watching the most. but I don't really have any problems with Michael Keaton batman either. Batman forever needed at list some changes to make it a good movie (like you said it wasn't good but not terrible) the truth is with just a little bit more work it could have been good but they quite frankly still made it too comedic ( in slightly better way than batman and robin but still not great) as far as batman and robin they had good villains to work with and they turned them into absurd characters and as far as that part I'm sorry but there are almost no redeeming qualities at less you want to make them entirely as parody of their original characters. But i fail to see the point of that.
Batman v Superman was a complex deconstruction of two of the biggest comics icons. Visually impressive, great soundtrack and scale epic. Snyder did what other studios wouldn't even dare to try with blockbusters.
You just left 3 comments on this video defending a mediocre movie, with one of the most simplistic plot resolutions ever, that barely delves or deconstructs either hero, because Zack Snyder just does not understand the heroes he was given. You can enjoy the movie, sure, but dear Lord most Zack Snyder DCEU fans act like it’s one of the greatest things ever made. Edit: As it goes on, 6+ Comments, bro you’re not getting your message across, only 1 comment is necessary, all you’re doing is helping Vee’s point go through the algorithm.

I tried to like Batman V Superman but it fundamentally misunderstands the basic characteristics of its two mains and Lex Luthor is completely done wrong too
Actually, Ben Affleck picking up a gun as Batman is about as true to source material as it gets. It's actually the source material of the source material far before any of it. Batman's first iterations carried guns, that's just facts.
Batman v Superman was ahead of his time. It is brain, perfectly cast, great story, relevance theme and beautiful to see. It was criticized by people who cannot see a more serious and deep hero's movie.
So many years have passed, and Batman v Superman is even more necessary and current than ever. Superman fighting fake news, Big Techs manipulating conflicts in Africa. Batman taking control through force. Too bad the public was and is too intoxicated by the MCU formula. Still one of the best hero movie ever made.
I don't know why Batman V Superman receives so many negative criticism (Ultimate edition). Batman saw and experienced things that shaken his morals. Turning to the light after seeing the sacrifice made by Superman. Which is exactly Superman, a radius of hope. In this movie, he gave hope to a Batman, that power does not corrupt every time. Zack Snyder showed depth in Batman V Superman and I loved it.
Superman sacrificing himself just doesn’t have the impact it should have Had he had another solo film for us to get to know him more and see more of his character I may have actually felt something when he died cuz one solo film then his death was too soon. There should have been a Man of Steel 2 instead of rushing into Batman V Superman Batman killing is just a step too far, Snyder had clearly misunderstood the dark knight returns comic cuz while yeah that Batman is older, more cynical and more brutal, he doesn’t kill people and still adheres to his no killing rule, the only one who pushed him to that point was Joker but it’s more complicated then that

I'm SO glad you didn't include the 1966 movie in this list. To those who actually get the 60s show and movie it is great! Unfortunately most people think the adam west series is unintentionally funny, where in fact they knew exactly what they were doing when making it. Thats why it's hillarious in the proper way, it had to appeal to adults too
Movies that didnt impress me most were TDKR, Batman V. Superman, both versions of Justice League & The Batman.
Robin really reminds me of Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting
The Flash was a terrible Batman film as well.
Vee listen to me my friend, I hate to be annoying but it’s just CAST! You’re always saying Casted and that’s just not a word. Cast is both present and past
“I’m bad at rejection!” *attempts murder*
That my friends is an overreaction.
I still don’t understand what Lex Luthor’s plan is
Suicide squad and batman v superman dawn of justice
It is just silly to call Catwoman a Batman movie when it has nothing to do with character at all. It's not set in Gotham, The lead character isn't even Selina Kyle, and she gains actual cat powers and is not a thef. Catwoman is more like a very poor rip off of spider-Man.
The only thing wrong with Batman & Robin, was George Clooney. He was hopelessly miscast.
Both Batman V Superman and the Ultimate Cut suck.
Nope. Ultimate cut is awesome
@@bloodarcher7841 it is just a longer cut of the same movie. It confirms that Jimmy Olsen died. It doesn’t make Jesse Eisenberg as Lex any better. Making him A son of Lex Luthor is a stupid get out of jail free card. I still hate seeing Doomsday a sequel to Man of Steel. That’s too soon! I wanted Scoot McNairy to become Metallo. The movie is crap
@@bloodarcher7841Nope. Ultimate cut is trash
Ppl can’t just blame the actors for the movie but faults are in the writing and directing.
It just sad the best Batman movies are animated.
Batfleck just needed more backstory, better writing and richer character development
i like how you say 'just' like those 3 things aren't the main thing that make a character
@Vee Infuse - Yeah, dude... We all knew that´s what the "Martha" moment meant, the moment we saw it.. We all knew it was him seeing Supes as a human for the first time, because his mother is also named Martha... That´s the problem. An edgy 14 year old me would write that, and think that´s "deep" or "clever..." Spoilers: It´s not. If the theme was developed or explored in any way, instead of just MENTIONED, maybe.. But nah, dude 😅😅
Catwoman in a skin tight black costume is a winner every damn time! Complain all you want, I'll be over hear watching her walk away...and applauding
Yeah but Joel makes everything fun and goofy so I expected all the silliness of his bat films
They should have put nipple pins on Jim's coat
The batman rule until 1992 was: never use a gun to kill
Since 1992 the animated series the rule changed in to : never kill atall --T.Butron did a great job in batman character, in 1985 DARK KNIGHT RETURNS g.novel batman killed Joker as also in another book he killed K.G.Beast but with the moral coad not to use a gun and that's the original 🦇 rule:No guns ¬ No killing and it makes sense, cuz he's not a cop, he's a vigilante like the Punisher of Marvel, vigilanties do kill but as a last choice..
Last film i really liked was Batman Begins.
Why didn't Batman kill The Joker?
Considering he has no problem murdering everyone else.
And actually managed to build up a history for the character that doesn't amount to "and then he killed a guy."
he didn't kill anyone besides the car stuff stop smoking
@@orster2076the warehouse scene?
@@Hi_Just_Fred I’m going to note something. Batman in this universe shows no reservations from killing. Snyder himself made fun of Batman fans standing by his No Kill Rule with, “You’re living in a fairytale.”
In that world, why would Batman not already kill the Joker in reality? In the main continuity it’s because he doesn’t kill. In Flashpoint it’s because Martha Wayne is the Joker and Thomas Wayne is Batman. You need a really good reason for Batman to not kill the Joker in a universe where Batman will gladly wax the goons.
I think Val Kilmer killed it as Batman... Hes a great actor and he brought his A game in Batman Forever💯
The modern day Bruce Willis line seems abit harsh
8.16 - they “exasperated them” do you not mean exacerbated? There’s at least one of these per video! Are they intentional?
Batman and Robin is a guilty pleasure of mine one because they put posion ivy in it and 2 I loved Mr.Freeze and 3 the iconic bat nips
For what it is, Halle actually does play a decent and passible catwoman
I honestly adore batman and robin. I's so bad it's amazing. love it
This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I believe that the Dark Knight Rises should be on this list. I think that's one of the dumbest hardest to watch longest slowest Batmans I've ever seen some of the weirdest Batman story elements. Bane was cool though
Can you make a video on who was the best Alfred? For me no one can beat Michael Caine.
Michael Caine was good, but one of the reasons why I think Gough did it better (despite the Burton/Schumaker series being worse) is that Caine seemed to be a little too familiar for a live-in servant. I generally prefer TAS' Alfred, although he may have been a little too free with his sarcasm.
@@TheBlackSeraph I think the problem with Gough was, that he wasn't really given too much to do. He was really a background character.
Jim does deserve better he's a badass cop and a lot of version treat him incompetent
George Clooney is and has always been an overrated run-of-the-mill actor.
:) Thank you. Finally someone agrees.
Batman and robin
For me, she was the only reason to watch the absolute worst depiction of Batman. 😅😅
I think clooney would be a good batman now
Batman & Robin is beat for beat a remake of Forever when it comes to "scenes". Just done in much worse way 😅
Is this the movie that Alicia Silverspoon's career?
Bruce's love interest in Batman & Robin is Julie Madison. A actual character from the Batman Comics. Really no point of complaining screen time because you'd complain if she had more scenes, dont deny it.😊 You should a video of negative things in Nolan's trilogy and Affleck's Batman. Instead complain on older ones. No film of DC been perfect or accurate 100%. I could do a video on negative things in recent Batman films, lol so i'll spare you time.😊
All the tim Burton flims made batman into a murderer. Why do those get a free pass. If thats your hang ups. Also Batman will kill just not murder
Batman Vee Superman
Agree with you with Batman and Robin, Catwoman.
Do not agree with the Batman character part in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Sorry.
May not be the best but B&R is the most “fun” Batman movie
I literally just watched Batman & robin a few hours ago 😂
Because I’m doing a Batman movie marathon
But yeah the movie was… yeah…
Batman forever needed at list some changes to make it a good movie (like you said it wasn't good but not terrible) the truth is with just a little bit more work it could have been good but they quite frankly still made it too comedic ( in slightly better way than batman and robin but still not great)
as far as batman and robin they had good villains to work with and they turned them into absurd characters and as far as that part I'm sorry but there are almost no redeeming qualities at less you want to make them entirely as parody of their original characters. But i fail to see the point of that.
And his Batman had nipples
Lol so inconsistent years ago y’all were saying that BvS and Snyder understood these characters now your calling it a “deconstruction” … what’s next I wonder 😂
@@CursedShinobiClowndifferent camps. Different people made those complaints. It’s just Snyder’s fanboys are much louder now than they once were.
@@GamerTheVoidGamingCentre - Dude sounds like a AI chatbot, it's kind of eerie... he says nothing of substance, just a bunch of random buzzwords with the odd insult toward the MCU interjected here and there.

Whatever🙄…. you mix taped😒
I still think there is no movie that represents my idea of how a hero/comic movie "should be" as well.
How much Batman V Superman.
Brave, dark, weird, and epic.
I only feel grateful for a movie like this that I existed.
This is the tenth bvs comment you've done in the past hour. Go outside and breathe.
True but that is not the iteration that everyone idolizes nor was it around for very long.
And the original incarnation of Micky mouse only spoke in whistles, what exactly is your point? Characters change buddy...
jim desefrves beter
Batman v Superman was ahead of his time.
It is brain, perfectly cast, great story, relevance theme and beautiful to see.
It was criticized by people who cannot see a more serious and deep hero's movie.
BvS was about as deep as a 12 oz can.
Bvs was dog shit lol
So many years have passed, and Batman v Superman is even more necessary and current than ever.
Superman fighting fake news, Big Techs manipulating conflicts in Africa.
Batman taking control through force.
Too bad the public was and is too intoxicated by the MCU formula.
Still one of the best hero movie ever made.
well I think it's just a cool movie, not my favorite, but it's undeniably a cool movie
Batman v Superman is a masterpiece.
Realistic and mature, everything I wanted in a movie about comic characters DC.
Serdas, you're wanted back at Arkham.
Why ya gotta have Batfleck on the thumbnail? Everybody knows, it's Clooney, then Kilmer.
Cool party.
Superman sacrificing himself just doesn’t have the impact it should have
Had he had another solo film for us to get to know him more and see more of his character I may have actually felt something when he died cuz one solo film then his death was too soon. There should have been a Man of Steel 2 instead of rushing into Batman V Superman
Batman killing is just a step too far, Snyder had clearly misunderstood the dark knight returns comic cuz while yeah that Batman is older, more cynical and more brutal, he doesn’t kill people and still adheres to his no killing rule, the only one who pushed him to that point was Joker but it’s more complicated then that
Worst Batman movies? All of them.
