I recently bought my first car in Canada Ontario - this VLog is about how you can easily get your own brand new car if you're a newcomer (with a job - open work permit) to Toronto, Ontario Canada. If you're a student - I highly don't recommend you buying a car until you are stable to pay for one.

Document nam oni machan work permit + bank book (sheet) + insurance pink slip (this should be done first before taking the vehicle to your hands + void cheque from bank + driving license ( can put the order from G1 but need at least G2 to get the vehicle to your hand because you can’t get insurance without it + salary slips ( it depends on the bank - for Honda they asked , for Mitsubishi no need)

@@VishmithWeerasinghe I'm glad it worked for you at Mitsubishi, this wll help you to build your credit in Canada. Buying a car as a new comer in Canada can be a big challenge. I ruined my credit within the 1st 6 months, trying to buy a new car when I first came here. Then bought a old 2007 car for cash, which had so many different mechanical issues. I wish there was valuable information sharimg like this in UA-cam at the time. I'm glad you are sharing your positive experience as it will alllow many others to navigate tricky 1st couple of years.

Having a visa for a certain duration (1 year or 2 years) will affect your finance terms or chances of buying a vehicle but it’s not always true. Some dealers, who can take a risk will always give you a car for 6 or 7 years finance even if your visa is valid for 1 year. Honda or Toyota dealers might give you, but they have enough customer base, so they will not care about you. I have seen students buying used or new cars, it depends on your budget. Do your research and homework before you buy ? Listen to everyone for their advise but don’t always believe whatever they say. Do your own research and homework.
This is absolutely true. And honestly the same experience I went through. It sometimes depend on the dealership + the agent too. But anyway I tried all the dealers out there and no one accepted me (I am thankful that they didn’t this vehicle is great)
But honestly no one gave me enough explanation or help and I had to figure things on my own though. No UA-cam content for people like us. For Indians there are and they do within their own connections.

I am not sure. Because you should be able to pay CAD 640 per month + insurance of 380 ( depends on your region and other factors)
Maybe when you get PGWP you can. But I don’t recommend you buying brand new if you’re a student. Most students buy used vehicles. I don’t recommend a student buying actually - unless you can pay the full amount at first or put at least 50%+ down payment

It depends on your course and which stream you’re looking at. And also your job and availability of that in that area. There so many factors brother. Better do a Google search by province. I recommend Ontario because most students come here after their completion of studies

Mitsubishi makes great vehicles but for high speed travel 100 KmPH or more, seems too much for their engines so the engine wears out in about 100K miles 160K Km's. Also the resale value is almost as a Hyundai or Kia, just my 2 cents.
I heard the same story actually - but I know a few friends who used this vehicle beyond 200k without any issues. I hope the same too (touching wood) hehe. But yes I heard the same story about American vehicles and Koreans too. But I hope I won’t be that unlucky. Hehe. Thanks for your comment 🥰
I've heard transmission releated issues relating to older Mitsubishi SUV's, but I think a 4 cylinder 2.5 ltr engine is pretty capable one. I think the transmission issues have been resolved by now. I feel its a good buy tbh.

I got a demo Outlander 1yr old with 25km in 2015 used almost 10 years and aprox 175kms without any major issues. Every vehicle have pros & cons for me that is best in the market that price, all the best🎉

Hey don payment depends on your salary + other factors (trim of your vehicle). You can get it without a down payment as well but I recommend paying at least 2000CAD for the loan to be approved. Or you can not put a down payment and ask Mitsubishi to proceed with an insurance called GAP. With this the chances of your loan being approved is very high. Which is like 20$ per month.
