1) Does it have true "group chat", meaning one person speaks to ALL connected devices (not just one at a time)?
2) How do you activate the intercom? By voice, or do you have to push a button?

1) "group chat" When a member speaks, other members can hear it, and a specific member cannot be designated for a 2-person intercom.
2）To turn on the intercom, you need to press the intercom button once

Once they have been successfully paired will they remain paired even after everyone were to go home and meet up the following day? Or does this setup need doing each time we would meet?

They will remain paired. When reconnecting, there is no need to repeat the previous steps, just short press the intercom button.
