I wanted to create a Skellige witchers deck that was flexible if our main win condition got disrupted which meant that I couldn't simply add every witcher card seen in the deck builder. This version has been the most consistent for me lately and rolls out comfortably. In this video I talk about card selection, reasoning and strategy before playing 4 games with commentary for reference.

Gwent and especially Syndicate can be tricky to learn but lord have mercy, that syndicate game drove me nuts!😂 Great video Q, keep em coming.

awesome deck thank you for this! im definitely gonna try it once i have all the cards built. As you mentioned ST movement i thought of my cat witcher deck. after playing movement, i experimented with a version that is moving the enemy cards around and uses cards that dmg the entire row. Some rarely used cards like geralt aard, constructs with rock throw, surrender, dragons dream. Again i wasnt so successful but i liked the idea ^^'
Oh and btw, since ale was played later in the video, when i saw the rework i had a wonderful build idea for drunken dwarfs ST with lots of mahakam ale and golden froth.
the idea broke once i realized that the buff from the ancestor ale only applies to the selected card with golden froth and not all three :/

Having trouble with tall punish and tall tempo on this deck, do you mostly just rely on Hjalmar to try and chip at some of it?

I only like playing scoia'tael and man has it been a pain playing against this.
What I'm sceptical about is the portal/sove situation with the bears.
I don't recall bricking this in the 20 games or so I played. What you could do is add Raging Bear in at 5p if you're concerned about it as it synergizes nicely with the Adept and generates BT.

I actually like the game but haven't invested enough time to be good at it. Is the game in a good place rn?
