I like Batya but she is wrong on the conspiracy angle here. Sure anything involving the government has incompetance potential but if this level of incompetance was a normal incompetence level of the Secret Service we would be having state funerals for politicians all the time in this country. The Secret Service should not be able to get depantsed by Waldo from Van Halen's Hot for Teacher no matter how incompetent of a day they are having. This was one hundred percent a deliberate plan involving people either in the Secret Service or with knowledge of Secret Service protocol and how Secret Service think and behave in particular situations.
The degradation of our society systems through destructive ideologies like diversity. Equity inclusion is all part of their plan. Once the institutions are completely undermined, it is much easier to argue for their replacement with institutions that they can form and control.

Indeed Batya did start out on the (loony) left. I used to read her on the Forward an historic Jewish newspaper which Isaac Bashevis Singer used to write for when it was a Yiddish language only paper. Being on the right myself I found her often enraging, but compelling as she was a good writer. Her transformation though is at least 5-7 years in the making, not a recent thing.
In fairness, a lot of people around the world, not just the United States, have experienced “red pill moment“ within the last few years. Progressive political parties have been drifting, ever more extreme in the last decade, October 7 just revealed how extreme it had gotten. It didn’t change the fact that it was already that way. The funny thing is, the opinions of these people haven’t changed, it’s the position of the progressives that have changed. They went extreme, and left the rest of us behind.

Sadly, young people today do not learn, proper speech, grammar, or diction, and pick up terrible, speaking, habits, such as vocal, fryers, and from social media. If you’re going to communicate as a professional, you need to get rid of those traits.
