The fact that the trailer for Chapter 2 has John singing “Later Tonight”, and one of the Chapter 3 trailers has him singing “King of Pain” makes me think he sings songs like those when he’s by himself, not dealing with any sort of demon activity or murderous cult members. Just to pass the time.
My favorite one just has to be candy tunnel. Every single soundtrack is unnerving, scary and freighting but candy tunnel is different. That soundtrack makes you know that the environment that you entered is not okay and you will meet something of unspeakable horror. It gives off the vibes and you can hear it. It describes the candy tunnel and you know the tunnel is housing horrific thing which you will encounter. That soundtrack is the best, it gives off the vibe without you even entering farther enough. MASSIVE respect on whoever made that
I agree. The Candy Tunnel is one of the most terrifying locales in the game. The player is kept on edge through the entire game, but even seeing the Candy Tunnel's outside, with a bloody, lowercase scrawl marking its (silent) entrance, is enough to pre-emptively ignite the sense of crawling dread that permeates the sewer's catacombs. The interior is no better-- the dingy, minimalist shades of black and white, with messages ranging from vague to unnerving sprayed on the walls in diseased green (which, in my own personal opinion, contributes more to the atmosphere than blood would) all add to the feeling that although the sewer is silent, you're not alone-- and your company is not human. The music is the perfect capstone to it all-- ear-piercing, distorted, discordant, cutting out, fading in, synthesized tones undulating in perfectly unnerving ways. To say nothing of the things you find down there....
I totally agree with that statement and I love the way it gives me chills when it randomly stops and sounds more chaotic and unnearving when it picks back up

I swear, the Initiate ending feels almost like a near joke ending, with John just heading out to a bunch of Cultists, finding MALPHAS itself, then just presumably becoming a cultist, just because of doing specific things in a dream, all while the THX theme plays. It’s almost humorous compared to everything else.

Hey, you should make a full version of “Later Tonight”. If the faith series comes to an end. Put this for the end credit song. If there is any end credits.
Your Faith games have to amongst my top list of favorites. You took creativity to the next level with the pixelated horror and early 90s sounds, which funnel it all into a truly terrifying game. Can’t wait for news about chapter 3.

that one's actually UNSPEAKABLE, the one with many arms and one eye
That's the UNSPEAKABLE. Malphas is the demon that shows up while John is getting possessed and sometimes while John flashes his camera in Chapter 3
To me, it feels like one of those "Oh no, everything is NOT actually alright" horror movie endings, which I am all for.

Candy Tunel is the most unnerving one
I wanna know that one song that is in reverse when you play as father Garcia at the start of the game? I am so curious about it.
there is something about the music which would fit well with another game based on a Creepypasta made by Cosbydaf, Godzilla NES Creepypasta :)
