Riding in the cold. Put a pair of nitrile gloves on as a base layer. if you wear rain gear that will give yourself about 20 minutes before the cold kick in. This works down till about 20 degrees. Basically don't let wind hit skin. Gloves, rain gear, and ski mask. The thing you wear underneath a helmet that skin tight. The hi-vis worker jacket that's rainproof I found works best especially if you get a winter lined one.
I put my battery inside my grill . I have a big Weber Kettle grill with vents on top and bottom. Pretty heavy metal and mostly air tight. No fire can go up outside of my bbq grill. Also magnetic range hood fire extinguishing canisters, I put up in the inside of the lid. They go off if fire touches the wicks.
Could you get a cheep db meter and maybe set up a camera and do a drive by. So then you can get an apples to apples comparison. Then you could play side by side to show how much louder or stealth an ebike is.
I have the same model bike, and when going through the settings to adjust the top speed, I accidentally came across some hidden settings that aren't in the GTX manual. I've reached out to the company asking what they are and what they do if changed, but haven't received a response as of yet. If you enter the settings to adjust the wheel diameter by pressing UP+DOWN for 2 seconds (per the manual) and once you see Ld, then press UP+DOWN for 2 seconds again, you can cycle through VO, SC, PS. VO is for voltage I think and lets you go from 44 up to 58. Haven't tried adjusting it, so not sure what it does for power. PS, I found in the online Bullet manual and is for PAS, which I assume is irrelevant for the GTX due to no gear shifting. SC, not sure what it is for. If anyone finds out, I'm curious to know what/why these are on the GTX when they are not in the manual to adjust.

They contacted me last year and wanted me to review a bullet, I said sure, then they changed it to another bike and I signed their "agreement contract", still nothing, communication is horrible with this company. They reached months later in Sept saying they want me to review their new #GTX and like an idiot I said ok, again, they told me it wouldn't be ready till December cause they have to work out production kinks.....lol, ok so I wait, well now it's 3mths later, March and I'm still waiting.....🤦♂They can't even live up to their own commitments on top of their poor communication. I'm not surprised their product has issues.
I sent message on 20amp battery always remove from bike but before you do that you turn display off then battery then press button on display to empty current. If you leave power in display and put battery back you will get Paid spark from connection. That's something you gave learned no fire 😮
I ordered this bike and then I cancelled it. I'm kinda glad I did. Then they were going to send another battrery and kinda wishing i would kept it with the second battery. I joined the facebook and saw way to many complaints. I love the looks, but the complaints changed my mind.

I went to the Raev website and could find no information on the battery recall, and leaves me in question how customer concerned and supportive Raev might be? I just sent a friend to your channel who asked about what ebike he should buy for $2k to $4K, and as per your review, I suggested he look at the Strom C3 but also the Raev, as judging from the Raev and Strom websites, I guessed them to be the same supplier or parent company. Also might you be able to tell if the recalled battery might have an internal pack from UPP or Unit Pack Power in China? They are one of the larger OEM producers who seem to have had on going issues with battery fires. Cheers!

Maybe record the review now, then after you get the replacement battery. Do a range test with your normal route or back and forth to work to see if you get the same results. Then post the review. Less work to do after you get the replacement battery.
That is a nice bike like the style the seat looks good. Can you pedil this is a issue with these bikes I bought 750wat upgrade to 1500wat much better I've raised the seat with pvc I'm putting another cover on then staple and glue. Waiting for another controller 40amp the one I gave 30amp I'm goig6yo use 52v 20amp that shoud give me more power but yes I like this bike

my weight eats all the speed haha but its smooth ride on this GTX . I think if you ride at night the ARCLIGHT Pedals would be good and they have the silver colors now
Revv1 has more power it feels like. Both Comfortable. Revv1 has full fenders and a better overall feel with a basket option. The gtx looks better and has a seat for 2 people and an extra 8ah of battery and since it’s not as powerful it should get more range. Tires on the gtx are slightly better and beefier. Headlights are the same. Both aren’t great for pedaling

RAEV is an absolute terrible company. I had a horrible experience with them. their customer service makes false promises, doesnt actually take care of anything, they mix up stuff, the product was garbage, they forgot to ship portions of the order. Anyways, there was a lot that happened with my particular RAEV order that i was very pissed about.I will never buy anything else from RAEV nor will I ever reccomend that company to anyone. New batteries can be spotty on their first cycle. Could be it, besides whatever caused the recall.
