Mine is literally the only diagram that I've ever found that actually is clear, you have 3D views that specifically show it. To date, I've not seen a remotely clear and unambiguous pinout diagram from anybody, even the serious sleeving pros.

I seriously don’t get why anyone building a personal system doesn’t build their own. If it’s a system for someone else or just for show I get people want quick and dirty, but gamers/tech people take pride in unique builds, but today that just means they picked all the white versions of parts rather than doing much themselves.
@The king Charged Even if you have to buy the tools the first time, it’s usually cheaper or at worst about the same to make your own vs buying a Cablemod set. The flip side is it does take ages and it’s higher risk.
@@bittech1 I am thinking of going with both cablemod and custom own made cables by getting a short PSU type specific from Cablemod to cover those 2-to-1 wire fusions and then create my own extension cable with nice full runs. Would it be a good idea or would you object against it? (Other than the cost, because shorter cablemod cables not that much cheaper than longer ones and I have to get accessories for custom cable making too.)
@@augustusvipmail It’s not a bad idea in itself. The advantage to the method you listed is that you could easily swap PSUs if you needed to, since any would be able to plug into the extensions. I’ve done this before but with homemade direct cables and it’s effective, if a little messy.

Following r/pcmods makes me feel like a pro-level modder. Following bit-tech makes me feel like an inept amateur. I find all of your builds incredible, but this one stands out even among your past works of art. It's a shame that PCs have such a finite shelf life because this build will look amazing LONG after the hardware is useless.

Just want to place this as a warning here to everyone thinking about buying gigabyte/aorus: The RGB Fusion Software (which for most of the mainboards is the only way to control the color of the leds) is MASSIVELY flawed. It WIPED all my connected drives after restart, which seems to be a bug that only some users experience, most likely happening in conjunction with Adobe CC or Office products installed. I know that this sounds ridiculous, and I have no explanation how an RGB Software could be written SO poorly, in order to cause this. (Google "rgb fusion drive wipe", I didnt make this up) I was lucky and could restore most of my data, but lost 2 days in the progress, had to reinstall my windows 3 times and had a painstaking search for the issue, until I found others reports of this issue. *********************************** This is no critic on the video or sponsorship, the Build is epic, and the video is good!

Looks absolutely great, so I'm not alone who thinks that RGB Fusion 2.0 is total and complete trash. As a software dev myself, I find it unbelievable that this software is supposed to be a flagship LED control for the Aorus platform. I think Gigabyte should just write it from scratch and fire everyone involved with the current project. Are you working with Gigabyte on this build, maybe you can let them know how horrid the Aorus RGB control is.
18:55 I got some adaptors from PirateDog Tech on Ebay to plug my GPU and EKWB pump/res into a Commander pro to get everything controlled by iCue because it's so much better than any other RGB control system imo.
for RGB and watercooling in the same build, i highly recommend aqua computer stuff. i have a 'farbwerk 360' for the lighting, a 'quadro' for the fans and a 'poweradjust 3' for the pump. all controlled with the aquasuite. its so nice!
all that effort and you put an intel cpu in it...you do know that the 5900X comes in 32% faster,?. and I bet a crappy Nvidia card as well.... hahaha can you say GIANT DUST MAGNET???

Personally, if it was me, since you have all that customization and open space, I would have routed those GPU power cables under the GPU. Other than that.... Holy shit!!!!

I too gave up on tryna make their RGB BS work and just left it at default rainbow...not to mention the Z390 xtreme spotty PWM controls...they randomly disables my NF A12x25. RGB Fusion 2.0 would straight up crash my brother's old PC. No matter what we did it wouldn't work. New drive with fresh OS and still wouldn't open the software without the entire PC freezing up. Absolute garbage from Gigabyte

oh my god that is glorious! wow Alex, just wow. its clean, sharp and monochrome futuristic looking with the RGB off, but when its on, perfectly diffused throughout the whole build with no directly exposed LEDs anywhere, the whole thing turns into a single glowing crystal sculpture that looks both solid, sharp, mechanical, cold...but also light, ethereal, floaty, warm and alive. it definitely transforms it entirely and was well worth the effort! super incredible work Alex!! seriously. ALSO BIG UP THE 4K!!!! its on the edge of what my internet can handle, but i was patient, waited a bit, and watched this beauty in all its glory, on the TV, and not the laptop. seems like you got a few new toys (RGB accent lights? not sure what they're called) and i can't wait to see the fun stuff you do with em. its hard to imagine your videos getting even better, but seeing dem surface finishes in 4k will undoubtedly evoke new levels of appreciation for your impeccable attention to detail. borat says; VERY NIIIICe!

Custom cables are something I've wanted to do on-and-off over the years, but it always seems like an absolute ball-ache! You've almost got me convinced to give it a go ;-)

As a rule I always just skip over "B Roll" as they generally are just very formulaic shots of either generic PC-Parts or some "dull process" that the poor editor has done his honest best to make interesting, but usually failed.....
But NEVER on this channel, and I always enjoy following Your process and revel at the finished "products"
You have certainly grown as a maker and You now I.m.h.o. are one the best "Custom builders" that I have ever seen, and if anyone disagrees with me I will show them this project and dare them to show me something better.
And it's always a joy to get the notification that You have uploaded another one of Your "gems".

Aorus RGB is terrible, I wish I hadn't purchased a Gigabyte board for that reason. I also find that it interferes with other RGB software/controllers.
