Trust me, your in-laws would also rather not deal with a controlling, narcissistic person like you. But let me guess: you have no problem contacting them when you need something from them.
What if it were the other way around? What if the Muslim kids are going to the Christian friends house and they eat and sleep over. The Christian family is going to pray at dinner and night time. I know that my mom told my friends that came over about Jesus and their whole family converted. They even came to Sunday school and church with us.
If the Muslim parents don't want their children exposed to Christian practices, then they have the right and obligation to not allow them to be. It's that simple.
My in laws are strict Catholics. And it’s hard because they do things I think are kinda nuts . Like pray for an hour every night singing with prayer beads , they also pray to Mary 😮 .. I’m Christian I don’t think praying to anyone but Jesus / god is needed .. the middle man praying just erks me via Catholic’s .. we visited them for Christmas , luckily they don’t push the Catholic stuff on their son anymore .. we aren’t converting ..
I'm a grandmother of 10 with 11 due in April. I'd rather deal with difference of Religion than not being able to tell my grandchildren about Christ which breaks my heart 💔 because my children refuse to let me because they don't see the proof that Jesus existed and still does😢
Please speak to grandparents who are largely absent and prioritize everyone else except family in their lives, but expect us to bend to their schedule and their needs.... also how trying to explain their absence is not liked by the grandparent and tries to tell us parents to never mention negative things about them to the children. Example said grandparent never available or present, child asks why, parent says because they are very busy and our schedules dont align, grandparent comes by last minute on holiday and child asks grandparent why they dont make more time for them, the grandparent gets mad at the parent and asks parent not to talk about those things with their child when asked and instead call the grandparent and have the grandparent explain it. Same exact convo, substitue all topics: why grandma got sivorced twice, why grandma doesnt come over much, why grandma isnt married to her new boyfriend she now lives with, etc. All considered off topics for the parents to discuss with their child according to unhealthy grandparent.
I don't know why nobody is talking about the book Your Life Your Game by Keezano. I read it last year, and it’s an excellent Catholic religious book. It beautifully shows how connecting with God and building meaningful relationships can lead to spiritual growth and success in both your personal and professional life. A must-read. God bless ❤️🙏🏼
@MisMariaRosee also we are not catholic or religious. The religious people were the pharisees, the ones who crucified Jesus so we are not exactly interested in any of their teachings.
How to deal with in laws......dont deal with them. You have your own family separate from them. They either conform or not be involved .

What if those children took the message of Jesus salvation into that Muslim home?

Probably because its Catholic & religious. Real followers of Jesus Christ are neither.
Not your spot to advertise

Oh yeah, you gotta be tolerant of other religions.
Not tolerant. Tolerance is not a Godly principle.
