Power was filmed around my neighborhood he is cool and i seen him years before power on set for a movie it was on my block i live on so i was walking home i seen him sitting on a stoop chilling by himself reading his script
I love Tommy's (Joe's) character in power, he kills and loves doing it. I think he carries 50% of the show. We needed Angela Lee there and maybe she may have balanced out the questions more. Charlamain is not a good interviewer.

The cast is 100% committed! This is why the show is so successful. They are caught up in the TV drama themselves! Complicated and drama makes good TV

I think "Angela" wasn't annoyed or attitude-ish at all. She just has one of those faces and monotone voices that makes her appear that way. She can't help that. She seemed relaxed and patient..

You can tell when they get together they can’t help but tap into their character. Ghost loves the spot light, Tommy loves being in the cut, Tasha loves to be involved and Angie is very calculated and passive.

Love the show but they should be getting media training. Answer questions if you're asked to and if you Are not asked anything directly, rotate amongst the four so everyone gets to speak evenly and offer a different interpretation. Lots of interrupting and some things weren't directly answered.
nah with 7 people in a room its gonna be some of that and good, I dont wanna see everyone sitting there like a police dog careful not to step on any toes, just be people.
L kept getting interrupted. I think that's why she seemed a lil frustrated at times. she held it well. But she was interrupted like 37 times

They've done other interviews and talk about how they hang out outside the show etc. If you tell me that y'all are friends then I will take that at face value, if you say we get along well, I will take that too. No reason to call a bluff just to call one.

Leila is actually a very cultural, mature and classy woman. She dumbs herself down amongst her peers to fit in or some sort of social anxiety. Deep down she's very nice and genuine.

I'm a little late, but just catching up on "Power" You actors are awesome in this series! I am partial to Joseph's character Tommy though, simply because he is so real! The casting director for "Power" did an amazing job, as well!
I think that Tommy and Angie are the cerebral ones in the group...they both think deeply and you can see that they give much thought to issues...
people gotta understand everyone on this show is still a budding actor/actress in the terms of Hollywood...interviews are their way to get their individual brands out for themselves, so yeah they gotta fight for that time

She was asked a question so she answered it exactly how she felt and there's nothing wrong with that. She didn't say police playing basketball was the answer, she said changing/giving alternate views of the perceived association was the answer and I agree. If we change our negative perceptions on things and people and allow for more positive associations, I do believe that will help the root issue which is well perception.
Perception and reality are two different things sis... The reality is police brutality and shootings are very real in the African American community ,it has always been tht way and ones "perception" will not change tht, only govt actions will.
But shes not referring to just our perception of police but also how police look at the african american community. The brutality occurs due to the misconceptions police have in regards to the african american community which is why so many ill fated things happen and vice versa.

I would be annoyed too if I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Omari and Naturi are dominating the interview and talking over other people. Charlamagne asked Leila a question and Naturi cut her off, then Omari, before Leila could even answer.
She explained that people really go at her as if the character is who she really is. You can even look at some of the comments on here and see people describing her as how they view her character.
