Thanks for replying. Had a brain freeze. Actually I had stood the Walmart Brand in its original box. States on the box woof or pellets. I'm good to go. Still liked your video.
I was going to say you could just make this thing, but you kind of explained why you like this one from the folks at Solo,..so I understand. Looks like a winner!
Ya, you could definitely come up with a solution DIY but bending and drilling stainless not something I am equipped to do in the garage so any solution I come up with would not be as heavy duty.
I own the SOLO Stove TITAN... have used it for many years WITH A TRANGIA Alcohol Burner. When I bought my TITAN they offered their own Trangia-style SOLO Stove Alcohol Burner with the TITAN so your info is not correct about that, sorry but I felt compelled to correct this. I have also used a Cast Iron Trivet on top of the Pot Ring to even out the temperature of the burn for cooking more delicate foods or to increase/decrease the Pot Ring holder's size for smaller/larger pots. Both of these tips are perfect for the TITAN and the LITE.
Thanks checking us out and the comment. We really like the ease of using the pellets in the stoves. Once you get an idea of the amount to use it is super easy.
Another great video thanks - this helps me a lot with making a decision to get it or not! Do you think you could boil water by popping a pot on right away instead of waiting for half an hour? Also that lighter looks amazing - I'll see if you might have a review on that on your channel!
I certainly think you could start boiling water as soon as the starter is lit and it will heat up as the fire grows. It won't be as fast start to finish as putting the pot over a rolling fire.
Great review, Dick! I just purchased a Yukon 2.0 over the holiday weekend for my patio. I haven't used it yet.... but now I'm going to go order the pellet insert! I'm curious about the heat radius of the mesa?
You bought the monster pit. We have the Ranger and Bonfire and really like them. The only thing with the Yukon and pellets is that you will be consuming a huge amount of pellets as these Solo stoves really go through the wood due to their internal heat and efficiency! Enjoy it but I would start with logs before pellets in it.
I am not familiar with the Walmart brand that you are referring to but this page from Solo has the diameters of the different sizes that you can compare to your stove. www.solostove.com/en-us/p/camp-stove-pellet-adapter
I’d love one but I’m not paying $30+ for a small round metal plate including shipping. I’ll just buy some wire mesh and make my own for that price. I don’t want to buy another stove just for free shipping. Solo stove sucks. It’s supposed to be a solo stove but they keep going out of their way to make me buy another one.
Yes, at that price it is a tough pill. If you are interested in the concept there are non-Solo brands that sell similar items on Amazon which would land at a cheaper prices for sure.
I like the flame at the 33 1/2 minute mark. Thanks for the demo.
Yes, it works really well and pellets are easy to carry. Thanks for dropping by, oh by the way think we have landed on banana ketchup recipe(s)!
Looks like something good for those of you who go camping
It certainly extends the utility of the stove. Thanks for checking it out,.
Looks like it is worth the money for sure. Thank you for showing this to us, Dick. Stay safe and stay cool
Yes a cheap way to extend the usefulness of the stoves for sure! Thanks for stopping by.
The Mesa and the Titan are the same size. So you can interchange accessories.
Great hint, thanks.

Great video! Looks like a handy addition to the kit.
It is a cheap way to upgrade the stove for sure and a no brainer to use.
Just bought the adapter for my titan and campfire. Can’t wait to put them to use. Appreciate the video and love the channel name!

@@dickinaroundoutdoors8609 yep, I'll be using both in combination 😁
Liked your video, very clean cut and precise. I have the Walmart camp stove, wondering if this adapter would fit.?
