If you align to finance at either school, because the community is so strong and small, your odds tend to be just as good as going to a Booth or Wharton. Don't get me wrong, Wharton has the Northeast locked down, but don't weigh out Kellogg and Sloan just because the numbers they send to wallstreet or private funds are high

"Best" is subjective of course, but the programs that have strong ties to the hedge fund industry are the usual suspects - HBS, GSB, Wharton, CBS and MIT. NYU and LBS due to their locations and strong finance programs create possibilities as well. Generally, hedge funds tend not to recruit conventionally - so one might find their way to a hedge fund via networking as opposed to career services at an MBA program.
