Personally, I preferred 8am classes over afternoon!! I tried to get all of my classes for the day before 12 so that way my day was over!! I’d get done, go eat, nap, get homework done if I had any, go to practice, dinner, then bed! Definitely depends on the type of person you are though! I also don’t recommend taking online classes unless you know for sure you’ll be dedicated and focused!

Graduated in Dec 22' and this video definely has a lot of good advice! I am applying to graduate school and hopefully should be attending in Fall 24'!
I agree with everything you said, except one point. I was in college many moons ago (about to be 40 soon) but I went to a small private school. My whole college student body size was around the same amount as my whole high school student body-roughly 3000 students. For me, college drama was like high school drama, except in high school, I got to leave for the evening and not see those people. Drama at college followed me everywhere, because we all shared spaces-dorms/cafeteria/classes. If it was a bigger school, then that’s different, but at a small school you’re more likely to have a harder time when drama occurs because of less opportunities to remove yourself from the issue. But truly A+ on all the other points.

Sometimes, there are classes that happen at certain times. I had one class that happened only at 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. No other time choices. Yes , I did have a class where the evening class professors were better than afternoon class professors and it helps me as well since Im not a morning person

As a junior in college, please, for the love of all things good, when enrolling in classes. Use. And I repeat. Use. Rate. My. Professors. I did not use it for one of my science professors, and this was the first science class I took, which was in sophomore year, and he was a Christian basher, who talked more about religion than science, and canceled class every single week! Rate My Professors is a very good site for finding out what professors you should take, and what professors you should not take for the semester. Just my two cents.

I'm going to a community college. What advice do you have for me since I will be home in the morning and my classes are in the afternoon? I'm typically shy when I introduce myself to new people. I am a person who stutters and so if I want to date someone who knows my condition, how do I address it to them? I know that you said that I am not alone but this is hard adjusting to a new environment.
It’s okay to be shy! It’s more common than ever to feel shy or have social anxiety so others will understand how you feel. Don’t worry about it if stutter people will want to be friends with you if you are nice and everyone knows what a stutter is so it’s not a big deal or weird to hear. Good luck! Just start by saying hi and asking questions about the class to people you sit next to
