In 55 years there are 13 leap years. So 49 dollars a day * 365 days a year * 55 years = 983,675 dollars. Plus 13*49=637 dollars (from 13 extra days from leap-years) You have in total 984,312 dollars. You are still not a millionaire.

they showed this clip along with the entire episode on a TV station here in Thailand right now and made me realize that I had forgotten all about this show from back in the day ... I used to help an Illusionist when I was younger and I had asked him what he thought about this idea and if I remember correctly he said that he and others did not like that the tricks were revealed 😊

I want to know when magicians lets us examines the dollar and they still convert the dollar to 50. Or when magicians asks for a dollar. Amazing how they come up with these illusions or sleight of hands.

I was sat at a bar in Bangkok and someone came in selling gimmicky things like hoops and a matchbox trick. When I asked if he could show us something that he himself had learned, he showed us this and honestly, we weren't expecting it. It blew our minds at the time.

I have been knowing that trick
a great trick would be to take a dollar from a member of the audience, turn it into a fifty, then give the fifty back to them; ask them to hold it up, and it's turned back into a dollar. I wonder if that's possible?
actually as a professional magician for the last 25 years, NO professional magician does a bill change like this, they are able to show their hands empty before and after the change, this method the masked magician does, does not! Proving that even this show is not giving you people the exact methods

This only works in the US where all bills are the same color and size. Other countries have different colored and sized currency notes

It funnier to change the audience member's $20, $50, or $100 to a $1 -- then pretend to return it. "Find" the original in an unexpected place and give it back.

How do you do that
If you stay till the end of the video you'll learn how the trick was done!
David Blaine does it differently though. He asks a random person for a dollar bill, or multiple bills, and he flips it holding it vertically and it turns into $100. And he hands it back to his subject, so we know there isn't anything taped to the back of it. So there must be some other way to do this trick using just slight of hand.
the trick evolve, also this trick is old. they can put that on hidden pouch like skin color on there hand or making a fast hand trick.
