I was best friends with a wonderful Drummer in a local band back in the late 60s up in a suburb named Middle River. Near Baltimore. They were Great. I always wonder if they made it. This song has been in my head since the 80s and accidentally came across it a few minutes ago. That "ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah, ahh" line is among the catchiest and contagious I experienced in the 80s!
I remember seeing them perform the starting song on Saturday Night Live back when it was the best show ever before it went down hill
this version rocks too and heard this on the radio at work the other day and had to hear it on here.a classic and a gem.
