@williamchastain9510 thank you my young friend for being a Patriot and wanting to protect our country. What if I told you that you might have to fight against terrorists within our own tyrannical government aka domestic terrorists, which is EXACTLY why our forefathers put our 2nd Amendment in our constitution! It sure was not put there so we all could have guns to go deer hunting with!! Thomas Jefferson once said "the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time with the blood of Patriots and tyrants," the EXACT type of tyrannical criminals that we have within our government now! The Chinese are a stronger possibility than the Russians are unless the government we have now keeps "poking the bear" like they've been doing since 2021. The MIC aka the military industrial complex among certain others love wars because they make so much money off of them! The weapon manufacturers sell weapons, bombs and other instruments of war to BOTH SIDES and most of the wars we've been in, not all, but most were started by "false flag events" on purpose!! If I had of been born just 4 years earlier I would have been sent to Vietnam myself. I'm now 64 years old and in poor health but I'll gladly fight for our country if I am needed to. I may be an older man now but I can still shoot the wings off of a fly from 40 paces away, and even if I'm shot down in a blaze of glory like Jon Bon Jovi said in his song, shot down in a blaze of glory I'll gladly die defending the country that I love. Our country now days is FAR FROM the same country that I grew up in as a kid in the 60's and 70's and the way things are going now in our country now mostly caused on purpose by our own government its just a matter of time before we will have to either fight for our freedom or lose it forever! I want to thank you my young friend for wanting to defend our freedoms and our country because most young people these days just don't give a damn. You are one of the rare ones who can see through a lot of the BS and are what I call a TRUE patriotic young American and even though I don't know you personally I'd be proud to fight right beside of you for the good of our country!! May God bless you and your loved ones and keep you all safe and sound during these crazy times that we're all living in now days. One last thing before I go. Do you know the main reason we've never been invaded since the British in the revolutionary War? It's because our enemies feared there would be a gun behind every blade of grass in the USA because our 2nd Amendment allowed citizens to own as many guns as we want!! God bless the US!!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

From the VA: "As of September 30, 2023, more than 100,000 WWII Veterans are still living, including about 6,000 women. Their median age is 98 years old. Approximately 5,000 of surviving WWII Veterans also served in the Korean War and/or Vietnam Era. By 2034, the number of living WWII Veterans is expected to fall to 1,000. Best estimate is that 131 WWII Veterans pass away each day. The top five states of residency among WWII Veterans are California, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas."
I'm sad to say that when I see how much of society today behaves and compare that with the conduct of these young men back in the second World war, I am filled with despair. These men were part of the finest generation. I've been lambasted for saying that elsewhere, but I stand by what I believe and the evidence from countless veterans only supports my assertion. Today in the West, it's somehow frowned upon to be patriotic, to love your flag and stand up for your country. I often wonder what these last survivors think of the world they helped save.

Thanks, Josh, for this inspiring story. If I could offer a bit of advice on your audio work, I would say your mouth is too close to the microphone because we can hear the "plosives" of the p's. Use a pop filter at the least, or, move the mike about two or three inches more from your mouth and don't speak so close to it. Also, in the alternative, you can place the mike off-axis from your mouth a bit so you are not speaking directly into it but your words "pass" by it when you speak.

Like the Iwo Memorial says.. Uncommon Valor was a Common Virtue and that can be said for the entire Generation that fought WWII. 🇺🇸
Thank you for your service
God Bless Him...God Bless Them All.
Amazing, respect!
They saved the world for all of us. I'm afraid about what we are doing with that gift.
Hey hey ho! Do I hear a Western New Yorker?! Old Fort Niagara?! Hot damn! God bless this man!
Thank you so much for the work you do, it’s extremely important
Thanx for uploading 💯🔥🙌
He is a true hero in every sense of the word. We just completed development, a story treatment, and pitch deck for a biopic docudrama, called, "A Hero Named Louis." We're currently discussing it with a few key production companies, premium cable TV, PBS, and History Channel. It will get made! And an honor to work with Louis and his family, particularly his sister Kim, and TV actress, Rebecca Holden. Kevin Sorbo will narrate.
God bless you sir 🙏🏼
Holy crap how old is this guy? Obviously over 100, but he sounds incredible. I wouldn't put him over 80, no stutter, sharp as a tack.
We would not be here if it wasn’t for the men and women who gave their lives willingly for our country. Each died for a cause they considered more important than their own life.
North Carolina here. You are 100% right my friend! If it weren't for them we'd all be speaking German and Japanese now instead of English. My Dad, Julian S Bissette was a WW2 veteran who served in General Patton's 64th armored tank division as a combat medic.
@@julianjeffbissette7238 im 22 and i worry that ill have to do the same thing except it’ll be for the Chinese and Russian language. However this channel over the course of 5 years has made me ready.

This man’s bravery and effectiveness on that beach saved many American lives, he took out a machine gun nest and signalled for the navy to fire on a German position that was undoubtedly the cause of many casualties. This gentleman is a hero.
God bless ❤ you are so important to how we live today
At the end of the movie Troy this quote is said:
“If they ever tell my story let them say that I walked with giants. Men rise and fall like the winter wheat, but these names will never die. Let them say I lived in the time of Hector, tamer of horses. Let them say I lived in the time of Achilles.”
I feel honored that I can say the same thing, that I was alive when legends of WWll still roamed the earth..
Please make more videos pleaseeee
God bless 🙏🏴🇬🇧
Peace to the fallen!
I listen to this man of the greatest generation ever speaking of frost bite all the way up into his legs while thinking of todays youths who complain, fall out, turn tail and walk away fast if even looked at wrong,or scream bloody murder if they don't like something,or whine incessantly about their parents gen,and grandparents gens causing them so much woe and I want to say things to them and get all up in their grilles and teach them about ethics, mores, morals hard work, dedication, true sacrifice such as this warrior and every other warrior ever born has had to make every time I hear about how so slow their internet is,their hurt feelers,or wtfever ! ! !
From the VA:
"As of September 30, 2023, more than 100,000 WWII Veterans are still living, including about 6,000 women.
It's because people back in those days feared God an had morals. These days everyone is athiest an evil.
@@dustygatrell-ru7tg There were plenty of atheists that were veterans. I respect those who have religious beliefs but it annoys me when those of a religious persuasion say that those who do not believe in God are "evil". That's a very narrow minded point of view. Look at the world today, most conflicts are caused by people who do believe in a God.
Evil isn't limited to atheism.
@@DaystromDataConcepts athiest are evil people. They have no respect for the God who created them. They mock him all yhe time. An then mock people that beleive In him. An idk what your talking about. Quet a few dictators have been athiest. An just bevauss someone says they beleive in God doesent mean there chrustain. An back in world wat 2. There were deffently less athisst in america. There's no doubt about that. Athiesm has grown alot since then. An done nobody any good.
"So i went out there and beat the hell out of him 😂"
Shit made me laugh so hard. This dudes awesome
My grandpa flew bombers in this war and Korea. It left an impact on him and he never told me anything about it. He died in 2000 and took his knowledge to the grave, though I can't fault him for it. I guess I wouldn't want to be reminded of the worst things in my life either. Can't really blame him for the drinking either. Seeing what he did would make one not wish to remember it.
As a weather forecaster currently in the US Air Force, I thought it was interesting that the original date for d day was changed due to a weather forecast given to the US president
Any new videos coming
People oft forget the contributions made by Candians, Indians, and Anzacs
Many people just never learned about the part they played. They were magnificent.
3 more days will mark the 80 year anniversary when they invaded Normandy
“Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely...... I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory! Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.” - General Dwight D. Eisenhower
What about Korean war, Vietnam, Gulf War vet stories?
Why not try to film as many WWII veteran's stories then move on to Korea, Vietnam stories? Time is not on the side of WWII vets unfortunately.
My uncle henry was in the second wave too hit Omaha beach
