I recently made a discord status saying how difficult it is to be patient with myself. Coming into this, I was drawn by the title but I felt confused into why. Context before explaining: I'm non-monogomous. I'm seeing someone that I'm very much into but we also date separately. I’m 2/12 and he’s 2/9 … he’s 3 yrs younger than me . we’ve known each other for over 3yrs .. we met through my ex boyfriend I worked with my ex we had a plumbing / construction business so we became friends first… when I first met him I felt something very intense it was something I’ve never felt before .. he didn’t Peruse me because he said he knew I was in love with my boyfriend at the time and he respected that. So, my past boyfriend lied cheated and physically and mentally abused me for a good 2 years and at the end he left and ghosted me for a week, then comes back and says he wants to get his own place come to find out he had a girl that he had been talking to move down and live with him. So ya I was that ended. He didn’t want to accept the fact that I will eventually be dating someone else, it’s like he could get with everyone and I had to sit at home and stay single. So he broke into my home and attacked me , I had to fend for my life for a good 20 min. had a falling out domestic violence case and was almost killed from strangulation. Definitely a tower moment lol. So, he was put in jail. A couple nights later my friend I worked with calls me to come hang out and talk, I was like come on over. So he was going through his own problems with a baby mama third party deal. So for the past 3 months we’ve stayed in the same stage not much communication about how we feel about each other. Yes I didn’t think he liked me like I like him. The fact that his baby mama is still wanting him back and harassing me with stopping over at my house threatening me to not talk to her guy , when he said they aren’t together but she doesn’t want to accept that information.
