HOORAY!!! A MORE with photos that R&L are discussing that STAY ON THE SCREEN the entire time they are discussing them. It’s a Christmas miracle.
I used to live in Brooklyn and hated trying to keep up with street cleaning. Well one week, a movie was being filmed and they just towed all the cars in their way and parked them somewhere else. I didn't get a ticket because I hadn't done anything wrong, but I did have to just wander around looking for my car.

this happened to me but leaflets were posted all throughout the neighborhood..... im not sure how i missed them and nobody mentioned it!!
but somehow suddenly the entire street was cleaned up! apparantly 90% of the neighbors did move their cars in time... only 4 had to be moved (mine included) and i could not call them until after the weekend......
that board game idea is genius
Kind of a crossover between Monopoly and the inverse of dominoes. Would probably work better as a card game. More compact, shorter gameplay loop, and with opportunities for NIMBY and HOA cards to show up. Although it would probably be too depressing to actually play because too many people are petty tyrants in real life.
It's the perfect game for Parker Brothers to make.

you can't always judge a town or a city by the population. The City of Laconia, NH has a population of just over 17,000.

I just realized that the green one or two hour parking spots are just normal parking spots when it’s not the times listed (if there’s not any other signs saying otherwise) my mind is blown 🤯
I am not sure what Portland, OR will do to you for some of these parking issues. A couple of years ago one of the parking attendants that worked my neighborhood told me that she was always lenient with some cars unless they were blocking a fire hydrant.
Also, Portland uses a company called Parking Kitty and they charge a fee to the customer for using their services even if you don't use their app.

In Nebraska, I live in a town of around 1500. This is a normal sized town for Nebraska in my mind. 20,000 is a small city.

Fun fact about parking on sundays: loading zones don't count on Sundays so you can park in loading zones no issue just for that day
Depends upon the city. Where I live, the no parking except for loading/unloading includes Sundays.
