He only let them run one way thats why hes so good
The way he looks at strikers is priceless.
Always keeps the player and ball in sight at all times
world class defending from VanDijk. A true legend of defending.
I’ve seen attacks break down because players see him and give up.
Rashford comes to mind in the 5-0 game. Looked up, saw VVD and almost physically went "oh I won't then" 😂
Only defender who can defend 2v1 situation The Best👍
He was so confident and calm that he don't go for any unnecessary tackles.
Appreciate the efforts put in by the editor. 😍🔥 Being a CB this has become one of my fav video💯
Best defender I've ever seen
Best cb
I do like it - full/main focus on/attacking the ball and controlling the movement of the opponent!
Thank you. It’s actually a pleasure to watch him play defense.
Doesn't over comit
Doesn't under comit
Looks like the favorite in 2v1s
Always in the right spot
Never Fazed
Bigger than Haaland
Faster than Sane
VVV🔥🔥🔥
While in Man Utd, we have Maguire 🙃
He is running & Seeing
He is the pure class.
If van dijik in team... Mid fielders is so relax... Coz it's vargil.
It's not only the ability but the intelligence he shows...never panicked , always calm and collected
I just can't process how Van Dijk is able to defend with his back to the ball.
What a player as a man city fan dias is not in his level
woww he defends so smoothly. it is so cool and soothing to watch at the same time!
I love how calm he is. Even till the last second.
dude is a beast. totally changes the perception I've always had on defense to keep my back to my goal. it makes so much sense that he faces his side with attacker. if they try to place the ball beyond him he is already naturally between the ball now and has the advantage. awesome technique..
Interviewer: How do you defend against onrushing winger.
Robertson: Easy, I show him my right.
Legend.
Incredible player to watch!
He is strong , fast as well as can change his directions with immense flexibility , the GOAT among defenders 🔥🔥🔥 . He believes in humiliating strikers with his techniques rather than breaking bones
And people have the nerve to say ramos is better. He only has trophies to show for it. If vvd was lucky enough to play for Real or Barca at the beginning of his career, hed easily be recognised as the greatest defender of all time
ramos is better at one thing, which is getting red cards :)
People still looking at how much tackle stats he have but the thing is in some of the challenge he just position his body nicely and gets the ball without even tackling.
Great compilation , nice editing too and thanks for the upload!
Just beyond his years in understanding. Knows where to be and what to do and has the perfect toolkit to do it.
0:38 he saw the pass comimg even after the player who received the ball made the pass.
He is world class. He watches the eyes of opponents
Just calossal defending with ease by a imperious world class player the world ever had....😀😀😀👏👏👏
I remember when Van Dijk first joined Liverpool, the back four felt so different and improved when he is in it
VAN DIJK COMPRENDIÓ QUE EL VERDADERO ARTE ES DEFENDER SIN LA PELOTA
Big♥️
Just look at his calmness..... extraordinary
What a defender, he can deal with all types of attackers
Explosive Pace, Skilled, whether they’re passing or shooting, he always gets a stop on it
His presence totally upped Liverpool by 1 class.. its not just his defending, but also long passes
He is the best defender of this time!
