Hi I love your channel. Just wondering , what kind of glue can I use to attach natural stone, smalti on fiberglass mesh where I can still see the photograph underneath the fiberglass mesh. I will need to see through the mesh so I can see the image underneath which will be my direct reference I as I work on the mosaic. Thank you in advance!

Mostly I use smalti, from different manufacturers.
What kind of latex and what proportions should I use. I am currently using thinset.
I use only later, without mixing with water. It is much more elastic in this case.
What brand of cutter were you using please. Thanks
Mosaic nippers which appear on this video I bought in Venice, at Orsoni, but there is no any sign on them who produce it.

Hi Milan, could you please be a little more specific on the latex liquid. The only thing that seems to match what you are talking about is a PVC liquid paint primer. I have spoken to a couple of contractor supply places and they were not sure what you were talking about either. What are you using? Brand? The container you keep it in does not say. Thanks
Hi, It was not my goal to promote any brand, but it is not secret what I am using. Liquid is aaded to increase elasticity of glue. Companies have it under different name. I use product of Mapei company, Kerabond T as cementitious adhesive + Isolastic as liquid.
@@MilanMosaicArt It is not a problem if you say what you use as long as you tell people it is not promotional. I went to a contractor supply and they did not know what I was asking for, then I showed them this video and they still did not know. Either they need to learn more or more information was needed. Try asking for a polymer additive. You can get it at Lowes
@@KMF3 have you found a latex additive at lowes? Any suggestions for a brand that can easily be found in the US?
@@montanaweaverkim I don't know if it is latex but it is a polymer additive that is specifically for thinset
