I do not understand the Record Rules. In the video, that rule also applied to Create, Read, Write, and Delete (see 21:03); but although he cannot write on the Sales Order that he didn't create, he was able to "read" others... So, what does Apply to Read meant then in that context.

Sounds like a security hole that circumvents field level access - can you close it by only giving read access to each field and not the entire model?
