THREE TIER DESERT
Ingredients
• Whole Wheat Biscuits 200 gm
• Butter 80grams melted
• Whipped cream 1 cup
• Gelatin 1 tbsp
• Jelly assorted any 1 pack
• Vanilla essence ½ tsp
Method
Grind biscuits into crumbs with butter and let it set to a rectangular base.
In a cold bowl whip cream along with gelatin and let it mix well. Add it onto the biscuit base. Let it chill. Now prepare jelly. Once cool down pour onto the cream layer. Make sure its cooled. Cut into pieces once chilled or frozen.
ADANA TURKISH KEBAB
Ingredients:
• Lehsan (Garlic) 5 cloves
• Bell pepper 1
• Beef qeema (Mince) ½ kg (with 20% fat)
• Breadcrumbs ¼ Cup
• Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
• Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
• Paprika powder 1 tsp
• Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
• Large green chillies
• Tamatar (Tomatoes)
• Cooking oil
• Naan
• Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Method
In a chopper, add garlic, bell pepper and chop well.
Add beef mince, breadcrumbs, red chilli crushed, cumin powder, paprika powder, salt & chop well, cover & refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Wet hand with water, take a mixture (175g) & skew on metal skewers (makes 4).
On another metal skewer, skew large green chilies & tomatoes.
On a griddle, place skewers, apply cooking oil & fry from all sides until done.
On naan, place kebabs, sprinkle fresh coriander & serve!
