In this video, I have shared my experience of traveling in Al Ula. Saudi Arabia. Al-'Ula, is a city of the Medina Region in north-western Saudi Arabia. Historically located on the incense route, the city lies within the Governorate of 'Ula , one of seven in the Medina Region. The walled city of Al-'Ula was founded in the 6th century BC, an oasis in the desert valley, with fertile soil and plenty of water. It was located along "Incense Road", the network of routes that facilitated the trading of spices, silk and other luxury items through Arabia, Egypt and India. Al-'Ula stands on the site of the Biblical city of Dedan but was founded with the ancient North Arabian Kingdom of Lihyan, which ruled from the 5th to 2nd century BC. The older history of the oasis has been divided into several phases. The Dedanite kingdom spans the seventh and sixth centuries BC. Dedan is mentioned in the 'Harran Inscriptions'. In these it is told how Nabonidus the king of Babylonia made a military campaign to northern Arabia in 552 BC or somewhat later, conquering Tayma Dedan and Yathrib (Medina). It is thought that around the turn of the fifth century BC the kingdom became hereditary.

Offering what? They don't have a piece of legislation except for sand and Ethiopian coffee naming it arab when they can't grow a grass.
What hospitality? Turkish biryani? Fish? Rice? Nothing everything belongs to the ottomans who made them eat proper humanoid way.
One thing to have etiquette and one thing being hostility to offer.
Arabs have culture of accepting guests with open arms unlike some.
That's all.
These arabs would be surprised if they see the actual desert we have in rajestan and what those sand people has to offer.
For Pakistani like u who don't get to visit many places except arab coy tries to work for it's a big thing.
It's just etiquette and manners they showing being responsible citizens though being uneducated to the core .

It would have been great if there was subtitles to understand what you were saying but I enjoyed your vlog nonetheless. Google translate will not likely pick up some Saudi dialect terminology as it differs from modern standard arabic. The old man was saying that you are our guest and the hospitality is free.

You are lucky or taking chances and not having any issues so far with that rental car brother. It's kind of smaller car with not all that much power - especially for off road driving. Could easily get stuck and not be able to get out without tow truck extraction.
In fact, here in USA when you rent a car, the contract pretty specifically prohibits use on off road adventures. They sure have a way of knowing (GPS tracking??) if the car was used in such manner and you can expect a scornful unwelcome when returning it.
