Funny how some of the teens were making fun of the fashion from the show, but some of them were wearing the same style.
The guy with the peacock sleeves totally got it. Self awareness. The rest? Not so much lol
Well for serious teen issues back in the 90s there was Beverly Hills 90210. Saved By The Bell was more light and funny and entertaining. I am a 90s teen i i loved this show. Back then everything was more fun and nicer. I love growing up in the 90s.
Not only that, Tiffani-Amber was also on the show from Season 5 up to Season 9
Omg! This was my childhood! I would watch this show day in and out along with Hey Arnold and Kenan and Kel! They just don't understand. This show was a gem. Maybe it is because of the absence of these shows that teens are more interested in teen pregnancies, twerking and reality shows rather than just getting lost in an unreal world and letting your imagination go wild!!!!
The reason why they were laughing at serious Jessie pills scene, was bc they haven't seen the show and have never been invested in the characters. So it's understandable, I still cried as I watched :/ this show was amazing!
I can't believe these teens don't love Saved by the bell like WTH this was the best, these were the good shows not whats on now like all reality tv; rarely some good shows on now besides Teen Wolf lol but yeah

I was born in 1997 and would class myself as a 90s baby but not a 90s kid. For that you'd need to grow up in the 90s, but I do remember watching a lot of 90s shows as well as the early 2000s stuff, was a great childhood and I'm glad I wasn't born with all this technology I feel I would have missed out on some freedom as a child

fadargenforlife but, she doesnt get the show at all.... saved by the bell was one of the greatest shows of my childhood. and the serious clip, its really good how they can fit such a serious issue in the show but make it look apropriate for kids and teenagers :P

The way TheFineBros presented this show to the teens is inaccurate. This show wasn't considered a traditional, very-dramatic teen drama. It was a kids show. It aired on Saturday mornings to target children, not weekday evenings like My So Called Life, Party of Five, and Beverly Hills 90210 (the original 90s version). Teenagers in the 90s did watch this show, but it was mainly because there was less television/movies directed at teen audiences back then, than there is today.
Teens react to "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" I know they'll trash it, but I loved it growing up.

saved by the bell ended a year after i was born but i watched reruns everyday after school followed by an episode of cardcaptors...this react made me so nostalgic.

okay so im 20 and i came across saved by the bell and im not afraid to say I've watched all the episodes and also the movies that they have done. it might be outdated now but that show was probably very in when it came out and when in the future kids will laugh at our styles,show and how we are now.
I watched it when it was new. Sometimes I couldn't get through an entire ep bc it was lame, even by 90's standards.
DiscoMatty McNiceness That was the beauty of it though. It was good because it was so cheesy, unrealistic and over the top. I don't remember anyone liking the show because of it's actual quality. Same thing with shows like Full House and Family Matters.
I watched Saved By the Bell when I was a kid. It was ridiculous how much I loved it. I am sad that they didn't flush out the storyline when Lisa and Zach wanted to get together

These are the shows of my childhood and they talked about real things, they were wholesome and you never had to worry about what your children were watching. Shows today are absolutely ridiculous.
Teens used to watch simple tv shows that made them laugh over small things, these days they don't seem to be satisfied with anything and they critisize everything.

I think they dont understand that at the time that show wasnt that over the top and was considered amazing AT THAT TIME. The situations and the show in general was normal in a tv sense for the time that it was airing.
It becomes apparent here that teenagers are trying so hard to be cool, at any price. Liking and getting excited about things isn't cool today.

As a 80s/90s kid that watched the show religiously, I think the guy who said everyone takes things seriously now and can’t take a joke is spot on. You’re my hero for saying that, because it’s true. I was born in 2006 so i didnt get to watch it but im starting to watch it
I was born in 97 but I spent a lot of my teen years watching Saved by the bell whenever the show used to be on Netflix. But when Saved by the bell was on Netflix before the first season they had the one and only season of Good Morning Miss Bliss. Now I own the full series of the show on dvd so I can watch it whenever I want to. Surprisingly I got it at Walmart and for the complete series it cost me like I wanna say $50 and some change.

I LOVE Saved By The Bell. I have watched every episode like a million times. I was born the year it came out so I started watching it when I was a teenager when it first came on Nickelodeon so just over ten years ago I started watching it and loved it.
